    Nope. I have a pretty ring from goldmark.. White gold and diamond, and it is perfect to me.

    Tbh I think the stunning, breathtaking, expensive ring should be the eternity ring and given at a milestone wedding anniversary, and Ive always told DF that.

    I dont expect to get one for that though, but it just makes more sense to me, if that makes sense?

    I accepted with no ring as well and it took a good few months to find one we both liked.

    If it was a ring that was "me" I would still accept. If it wasn't, I would still say yes, but wonder if he knew my tastes!!

    I think you get the ring you can afford. If you can afford a good quality diamond, you get it. If you can't, then you go for what you can afford.

    To me, my rings are a physical symbol of our love, but it's not why I love him. And honestly, my plain gold wedding ring means more emotionally than the gorgeous diamond engagement ring.
