I know, I was so sad when af came last week- I knew it meant I wouldn't be having/holding a baby by the end of the year!

My link to my chart shows no chart?

hi everyone - thanks so much for all your lovely messages of luck on saturday. Like caz said, unfortunately it was a BFN for me. Who knows why, these things happen I guess and frozen transfers aren't as successful as fresh. I just wanted to give hugs and love to all you beautiful girls who were so excited for me and were wishing me so much luck. better luck next time hey?

    xoxo

I just got for the phone with fs and she said that my progesterone levels were really low at around 7 at 3dpo. Does anyone know what this means or if we tested too early and how we can overcome it? Just getting stressed that this is another issue to overcome

    Next step hsg test

Nattie, from what I know 7 is reasonably low for progesterone levels after ovulation, I think they look for anything above 15 to indicate a good quality ovulation - but the level could still be on the rise. Usually they test progesterone levels at 7dpo in my experience. That said, I think if the FS is saying they're low at that stage then she probably knows what she's talking about. Progesterone has a particular effect on your uterine lining in order to make it receptive to accepting an embryo, which is why it's so important for TTC. The good thing is though that progesterone issues are actually quite easy to combat, and aren't a huge problem when they're discovered. If it's just that that's been hindering the process it's easily fixed with progesterone support in the form of progesterone suppositories (not the most pleasant things but worth it in the end if it gets the result you want) in your luteal phase.
