    Default Teat size

    Hi everyone,

Just wanting to know if anyone had found a teat flow that is in between Pigeon's M & L, i'm pretty sure DS is wanting to go up a size as he is fussing again but i'm worried that the L flow will be too fast.

He is only 4 and a bit months but is such a lazy drinker

    Hi Elt87,

There is the Pigeon's Y size which I think is between M & L. I just got some of the L size on Wednesday and on the pack it said to use L size if baby wasn't happy with the Y size.

    Thanks Lilrussell,

I had received mixed info between the Y and the M cut and found the M to be faster, although i found the M in 2 different packages, the new package said 2-3mths and what i'm guessing is the old package says 4-5mths, may not be a difference between the 2 but i buy the one that say 4-5mths.

DS was on the Y cut first and was feeding great for 2 weeks before flattening the teat at every feed, and no matter how loose or tight the lid of the bottle was it just kept happening, this is when he started the M flow and had been feeding great for a month and now takes 2 -3 (or more) goes to finish his bottle.

He may also be teething atm, all signs are pointing to that rather then his reflux as i had great fun finishing his feed (80ml) via syringe this morning, this wouldn't of worked if it was his reflux... but i also want to rule out if it is the teat bothering him. I just had DP come home with an L pack to try at his next feed, at least i can know for sure if it is too fast for him.

Now that you mention we had the same problem with the Y teats when we tried them before the M size. I hope the L size works for you.
