    Hello Ladies,

I am sorry that I have been offline for a while. I have been busy clearing my mind and getting my body ready for the next cycle (ie; working out and eating healthier - other than the last few days when I have made a pig of myself on chococlate muffins!).

Kate – OMG I am sooooo excited for you . What wonderful news. I cannot believe that you are pregnant now. That is truely amazing. I bet DH is just beside himself. Will be keeping everything crossed for a smooth journey for you. Can’t wait to hear all your updates on how you are progressing. I am sure that the rest of us won’t be far behind you.

Kristen – Congratulations to you too. What wonderful news.

TK Wishing – Welcome. Poor Kate. It sounds like she suffers badly from the pill. Have you spoken with your FS to see whether there is another brand of pill that may not be as bad. Probably not an option for this cycle, but maybe next time. I will be sending her good healthy thoughts . I don't think I am going to be that far behind you both. I am waiting at the moment for my day 1 so I can start the pill again. Here's hoping that we all get positive news this time around.

Hopeful Jen – Hopefully your day 1 will come soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. When that happens, what is your next step? From memory you have some frosties to use? Please excuse my ignorance but what is the process when you have frosties?

AFM, I am also waiting for my day 1. Should be about a week away for me thought. Then I start from the beginning again. But I keep thinking that in about 8 weeks, I may be pregnant! Kate and Kristen have renewed my hope again. Thanks Ladies

Trace - This was our third cycle of IVF but we have been trying for 18 months. After 6 months of trying I was diagnosed with PCOS. My only sympton was irregular periods. We then got referred to a FS and started with clomid then IUI and fell pregnant second cycle but was ectopic. We then moved straight into IVF and miscarried first cycle and second cycle was BFN. Now we have our BFP again it's a happy but nerve racking time. Monday can't come quick enough!

Poor Kate reacting so badly. I really hope it gets easier for the both of you.

Jen - This last week is taking forever! It feels slower then the TWW. Hope AF arrives soon so you don't miss this cycle!! Have you done your crazy tribal dance yet to bring it on? Lol!!

Kate - congratulations!!! What a lovely present for both of you! So excited for you. I also had a horrible flu while I was in my TWW and it was torture not being able to take anything!! Your progesterone levels are so high I'm jealous!! I'm trying to get mine up higher and have increased my pessaries. Wishing for levels like yours!! Hoping your nausea goes away soon you poor thing. We are due only a few days apart. I'm due 26th January!

Calli - hoping AF arrives soon so you can get into your next cycle!

Hoping you all get your BFP next cycle. Sending positive vibes to you all x

    Hi everyone

Kristin - that is a lot to go through. I really feel for you guys and am so happy that you have your BFP. Sending you all my wishes for a strong and healthy full term pregnancy. Let us know how your results go next week.

Calli - what type of cycle do you do? yes you won't be far behind us. We start lucrin injections tomorrow (Kate is feeling a bit nervous and I'm feeling a bit excited) and have egg pick up scheduled for 20 June. I am trying to just go with the flow this time instead of being obsessed with it and thinking about it all the time. We have tickets to Lady Gaga and also to the Jabbawokeez between now and then to try and have other things to look forward to and think about... we'll see how that goes

    Here we go

    Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all. Sorry it's been so long. It's lovely to see some BFP's in here. Congratulations and good luck ladies and I hope you enjoy every minute of pregnancy.

Aston is home now after 5 1/2 weeks in Special Care. He is doing wonderfully, putting on lots of weight. We are so very lucky blessed to have him. I so hope that you all get to become parents very soon. It's such a hard road going through all this and especially when you see other people just fall pregnant like that. Stay positive ladies and I pray it will happen for you all soon. Sending u all loads of baby dust

Congrat Leisey on your baby girl, gorgeous name.

    Enjoy your Sunday.

    Hi Ladies ,

TK Wishing – We are using the ICSI treatment (injecting the sperm into the egg) (I hope that is what you were meaning – sorry am new to this). I have PCOS and DH has very low sperm count. He had open heart surgery last year and has to take Warfrin for the rest of his life. Apparently this affects his sperm count. So unfortunately we have problems on both sides and FS said the only option was ICSI. What about you and Kate? What has your FS got in store for you? I imagine it must be similar to us. Do you mind if I ask how you sourced your donor? 20 June is not far off . We are off to the Lady Gaga concert too! Hopefully it will keep our minds off everything too. I tackled last cycle with an open mind and tried not to get too wrapped up in it all. It was hard not to but I am hopeful that I can do it again. It is a balancing act. You don’t want to not have hope but too much hope and you will come tumbling down like a tonne of bricks. Do you both have a good family support network? Hopefully that will help you get through this. I will keep everything crossed for you both .

Hopefuljen – How are the tribal moves going? I hope your AF has come by now .

Kate – I hope that you are well and that everything is going smoothly. I am so thrilled for you .

Stacey Lee – That is good news that Aston is home now. Well done.

AFM, nothing new to report. I Had a wonderful weekend with DH. A friend of ours from Sydney also surprised us with a visit which was exactly what we needed. Sending best wishes to each and everyone of you for BFP's

    hi ladies

Calli - we use ICSI too as our donor's freeze-thaw rate is not super high. Our donor is from the US. You get so much more information on the US donors compared with Aussie donors. We went through the QFG Brisbane office donor program. Unfortunately there are hugh problems with getting donor sperm at the moment due to recent law changes and so we basically have to get our family using just the 2 ampules that we have. We are trying to use just half an ampule each IVF. Not sure what we'll do if we use that up and don't have our babies. Just trying to take it one step at a time.

Are you doing a long down reg cycle (take the pill for a few weeks, lucrin injections, then Gonal F)? That's what Kate is on. Yep, both our families are great.

Stacy-Lee - congratulations on your baby. So love hearing success stories. Thanks for your wishes.

    Good Morning Ladies

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!!

Calli – It’s nice to see you back, glad that you are feeling better and getting yourself ready for a new cycle. Talking about muffins have you seen the new ones in Coles which have melt in the middle centres, lush!!! Haha in the end I didn’t need my tribal dance it finally came on Sat, so I started all my pills yesterday. I am doing a medicated FET, so I take a cocktail of medicines and have my lining watched (not bloods I don’t think, but I can’t remember that well) and then I start progesterone pessaries 5 days before transfer, to trick my body into thinking that I ovulated (I believe), then same 2WW with hopefully a BFP at the end – for all of us!!!

Kristen – I hope all goes with with your blood test today, I think with your huge HCG last week all should go smoothly today. Hope you are feeling ok – thinking of you!! Oh and haha I didn’t have to bust my tribal dance out in the end, guess the threat of it worked!!

Stacy – So nice to see you back!! It’s lovely to hear that all is going well and that you have little Aston home, what an amazing day that must have been. Have been loving all the pics on FB he is absolutely gorgeous!!! Thanks for your positive thoughts!

Trace – How are the Lucrin injections going? Hope Kate was ok with them! That’s cool that you have a few things going on in this cycle, I try to do that too to stop the craziness setting in, however I always find time to drive myself mad, but it’s all good... !

Kate – Hope you had a lovely weekend floating on cloud nine with DH! Have you got a repeat blood test on Thursday?

AFM – As I mentioned above AF arrived on Sat, so I popped all my pills yesterday, and am happy to have started this cycle. I am feeling really positive, and me and DH both feel ready for this cycle. It’s a bit of a busy month for us, which will be great, and hopefully with great results for us all!!!
On a different note, I got a new pair of super warm pyjamas this weekend, it is so chilly in the evenings, I am loving it (I am from England haha!), it’s lovely to wrap up warm, get the slippers out etc etc

    Hi Girls,

Jen yes I do have another lot of blood tests this Thursday. It's so weird as I don't really feel pregnant. I've lost a lot of the bloat from all the drugs so my belly has also gone down and now I feel half normal! I almost want all the nausea/bloating back to feel like something is going on (I have to be careful for what I wish for though)!!

Trace I also did a down regulation cycle and to be totally honest I struggled. Normally they like girls to be on the pill for 3 weeks, I only lasted 2 weeks. I suffered really bad hot flushes and headaches on the Lucrin then got SOOOOOOO bloated on the FSH (I did have 15 eggs taken out though) and I had mild hyperstimulation after the egg collection. I then suffered really badly on the progesterone too (my levels were 416 compared to the expected 50-60)!! My body was like a sponge and I just absorbed everything and suffered nearly all of the side effects! Worth it in the end though

I tried to keep some exercise up through it, I cut back from running to walking and did my pilates class when I could. I also started taking sustagen after the egg collection to increase my protein and flush out the oestrogen and I had to take movical (it's a laxative thing). They recommend it as all the drugs cause you to block up and it makes the bloating worse

I don't understand all the other cycles that you can do but if they involve more drugs I so feel for you girls!

Hope you all have a nice day.

    Hello everyone

Mustang Kate - you sound a lot like my Kate. She gets all the symptoms too. 15 eggs is great!! Did you get any to the freezer? We got 11 eggs, but only 1 made it to day 5. Kate was on Sustagen and movical too. Her pain went away pretty quickly though - only a couple of days where it was hard to stand up straight!! But we had issues with progesterone levels. They were down at 22 so we had to up the progesterone to 3 x 400 daily. Hoping that was just a one off thing and her levels this round are a bit higher. Hope all goes well for your tests on Thursday.

We are 3 days into the injections and the tears started tonight. That is earlier than last time. Kate gets very teary on the lucrin.. must be on my best behaviour now and bring out the cuddles.

Hopefuljen - what date will your FET be? do the pills you have to take give you many side effects?

Kristin - how were your bloods on Monday? Hoping all is going ok for you.

    Trace
