Tis very quiet in here - Hope everyone is doing well!!

Lovedup - I can't imagine how it must be for DH's to watch and not really be able to do anything, they are fantastic!! WOW that's a serious amount of weight dropping off you, am so glad that you are starting to feel better! Oh gosh minute counting it must be driving you mad - but you've mad a week now!! YAY!! So have you done any more HPT? How are you feeling about this cycle?

AFM - I think I may have lost it haha! I keep thinking about what if I feel pregnant this natural cycle while waiting haha! Now that would be a miracle! I'm not sure why I am even entertaining the thought, must be a glutton for punishment!
Hubby is taking me for Yum Cha today YUM! can't wait, first proper food all week too! So I'm bypassing brekkie today for a yummy lunch!

    Hi Girls,

Sorry haven't been on for a bit - was having a down day yesterday... was just sore, bloated and sick of... well... this!

Update on fertility rates... 7 were fertilised (5 were too immature so 7/10 was a good result apparently). Of this 4 are at optimum stage, 2 a little slow and one had to be discarded after not doing anything..... so it's number 6 for today. Hopefully it all keeps going ok.

Lovedup I wish I could lose those numbers......... I am feeling wobbly in all the wrong places! My DH does love my massive boobs - too bad they hurt and I'm in no way feeling frisky

Hopefuljen, you deserve to fall pregnant naturally! Sometimes crazy things do happen! Enjoy yum cha!

Hope you're all having a great day - I'm going to get some sunshine!

    Hello lovely ladies,

So sorry it has been a while since my last post but have had a huge week at work (late nights and no time to log on).

Congratulations Kate on your 15 eggs! Amazing work. No wonder you were feeling bloated. 6 still going is amazing work and especially with 4 strong ones. Hopefully tomorrow they will be even bigger and stronger. Any news on ET date? My boobs were huge too but way to sore for any touching. Even my bra was too painful to wear sometimes.

Loved up – I will keep everything crossed for you for the 16th! So exciting How are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? I was in stress mode at that time and couldn’t concentrate on anything other than on every little ache or pain I was feeling (hoping and praying that there may be something growing inside of me!). What did DH have planned for you? He sounds like he is really supportive. I am sending you happy thoughts. Don’t worry about BFN from home test. Perhaps it is too early?? Thankfully my AF is all over and done with. I am just waiting patiently for the next one to begin. Should start sometime at the beginning of next month (hopefully).

Hopeful Jen – how are you feeling after having your wisdom teeth out? I had all 4 out last year, thankfully under general anasethetic in hospital so didn't feel much until afterwards. I found the worst part was trying to eat cause everything got stuck in the holes... Hope you are alright. Any news from your doctor as to when you start cycling again? If it makes you feel any better, I am hoping that we might fall naturally this month even though I know for us it is almost impossible! In saying that though, my mum was told that she would never have children and she fell naturally with 3 lovely babies. So I am always hopeful. Will keep everything crossed for you too. How was Yum Cha? Did you go to the Robina one? I have heard it is amazing.

AFM I am starting to get back to my pre-IVF workout routine. I tell you, after having a few weeks off from working out, I put on a bit of weight and my body went wobbly (to steal Kate’s wording). Am feeling so much better being able to have a good workout. Am just trying to get my body into better shape to cope with the next cycle. Still a little way off from starting but that’s ok. Will just be patient.

Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunshine we had today xx

    Good Morning Ladies...

Kate - Great fert results!!! Are you getting calls every morning with updates? I remember my heart pounding when the phone rang!! But sounds like ther are doing really well. When's your transfer? Thanks for the kind words, that would be pretty cool , although I am not fissed how it happens just please happen soon - and for all of us!!!

Calli - Nice to see you back!! Oh gosh yea the eating bit is dreadful Unfortanately I have a bit of an infection in one of the "hole" (I guess) so is feeling pretty sore, but hoping the antibiotics will knock it on the head soon enough. Awww I love hearing stories like your Mum's, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way... you just never know do you... this is def not an exact science otherwise we wouldn't all still be here now. I went to the Yum Cha in Southport at Australia Fair... it is lush!!! So when do you think you will cycle again...?

Lovedup - How are you doing hun? Did you have a nice day yesterday?... Not long to go for you now...

AFM - All pretty good this end, apart from a bit of soreness, but that should pass soon enough!! As mentioned before I am def sufferening from wobblyness, and am trying to work on shifting a few kilos, this last year has not been kind to me.... plus I discovered the cheesecake shop....Ooooops!! Should be starting my cycle in just over a week, am really looking forward to it

Happy Sunday everyone!! Be kind to yourselves today

    Morning Ladies-

Kate- how are you feeling hon? Has the pain started to subside yet? I didnt lose any of the bloating for a good week after transfer but hopefully you feel better much more quickly.. When is transfer??

Calli and Jen- I feel you ladies, i am WOBBLY.

AFM: POAS this morning and BFN. I spoke with my FN and she sadly said if I were pregnant it would have shown as a positive by now. They have moved my BT to tomoz so that I can start to move on. Devestated. I had pretty much every symptom in the book but I suppose that was just the progesterone.
I hated so much having to tell my DH that I had failed. ( i no that 'sounds' stupid but its pretty much how I feel. Anyway, im at work so I better try and stop sooking so i can make it through the day.. I may drop of the radar for a little bit but will be back to check in on you amazing ladies soon! Best of luck to you all.

    Morning girls,

So this whole pregnancy thing really isn't going as planned for us!

Go to have transfer this morning and our embryologist says we've got two really good embryo's... only thing is the 'better' of the two, we're 98% sure it's identical twins - WT??????????? This is apparently a freak of nature thing because identical twins means you don't have to have twins the genes (which we don't).

It had apparently split in two and they had scientists in the Brisbane labs looking at it and everything.

After discussions with O'Dowd (he was pretty clear he didn't want the twins), we decided against that embryo and transfered the other one. He said the risks of multiple births were just too great and they didn't want to put me at further risk. I've now been told that by two fertility specialists.

We are freezing that embryo though in case things don't work out with this one or other fresh cycles.

So blood tests are due 24th May, which is also my hubby's birthday

Lovedup - I'm really sorry to hear your news but know how you feel re: feeling like you failed. After I found out my tubes were blocked last year & could never fall pregnant naturally I hit rock bottom and seriously considered leaving my husband so he could find a 'normal' women to have babies with. Please don't ever think you've failed anyone. I'm sure you're a wonderful wife and person in general dispite not being able to have a baby on cue. Having a baby these days is a bloody miracle so don't beat yourself up.

Now what am I meant to do post transfer???? My DH is home today so the baseball is on TV - I'm sick of lounging/reading etc....... but can't do much else!!!

Lovedup - I am so so sorry hun Please don't blame yourself though, you did everything you could... You and DH be kind to yourselves, take a break if you need, and we will be here when you need us. Wish there was something I could say to make it easier... However, I hope that you get THAT phonecall tomorrow... I hope you take tomorrow easy... Thinking of you

    Hi Ladies

Kate - Wow that's amazing that they could tell it was twins, that blows my mind! Hope the transfer went well today. I normally watch some feel good films or TV and have something comforting for dinner (I have had stew after each transfer haha! I can be quite supersticious so always do the same thing). Have you taken any time off work? Hope your little emby is snuggling in!!

Kristen, Calli and JG hope you are all doing well!!

Liesey it must almost be time... .... Can't wait to hear your news, hope all goes well!!

    Hi Ladies,

Loved up – I am so sorry about your BFN on your home test. I will still keep my fingers crossed that you may still get a good BT result. I know exactly what you mean by feeling like you have failed your DH . I felt exactly the same. In fact I have a feeling each and every one of us can relate to that feeling. Keep your chin up cause someday you will get the BFP that you desire. Take a little time out for you and DH. You will need it. I know I sure did. We are all here for you when you are ready.

Kate – whoa... that is amazing. Cannot believe that your have an embry that is twins and the fact that they can tell that already! Technology is wonderful. You sure have some great eggies I will keep everything crossed for 24th. Try and get out and just enjoy things cause you have done everything you possibly can now. It’s up to whoever is looking out for you to do their job now.

Hopeful Jen – Hi back. Hope you are well too.

AFM, nothing exciting to report. I am just enjoying my exercise regime and looking forward to the weekend. Can't wait to put my feet up

Mustangkt- I sooooo hope u get ur BFP. I have everything crossed for you!

I just want to thank you ladies for all of your support and understanding! But today BT confirmed BFN. The FN thinks counseling might be a good idea for me, I might look into it cause I'm not really handling it very well.
Anywho, I'll be back sometime soon to see how your all doing and until then i truly wish you all the best of luck!!! xx
