    Morning girls,

Sorry didn't get online over the weekend - was a little busy.

Lovedup - these people in Costumes, were they around Broadbeach??? I think there was something at the Convention centre as we saw them too - weird!!

Again sorry for my ignorance (first IVF attempt and not up with all the lingo) but what is an Antagonist cycle???

I was put on the pill for 2 weeks (was meant to be longer but I reacted really badly to it), then started my lucrin injections which are daily until the 7/5. I go in for scans/blood tests on the 26/4 and if all good will start my FSH injections on 27/5. Have scans/blood tests on 2/5 & 7/5 with EPU scheduled for 9/5.

No more crying bouts but still the hot flushes and I'm SOOOOO bloated and tired. Really wish I wasn't at work today.

Also I second the comment about having you girls to talk to. I've got one gf who has done IVF that I talk to, but all the rest have babies or are pregnant naturally and just get excited about the fact we may fall pregnant, but don't understand everything else involved.

And what is with everyone turning 30!! I was only 30 in December!

Hope you're all having a good day.

    Kate

I'm still newbie too Kate, I've just been learning bits and pieces from the constant googling and also from reading up on the April thread. I have only heard of the Antagonistic approach and a long down cycle (think that's what it's called) seen as yours is different to mine you may be on that but I'm not really sure. 😁

I feel like a bloated pin cushion at the moment too!
I want to progress to EPU but I'm also getting nervous. -Wow this is really happening!

Yeah once you start the injections the whole thing becomes real. Feels like a bit of a dream when it's all just talk and waiting..

Oh and I just googled it - I'm doing a down regulation cycle.

    Hi ladies

Loved up- Yay for a great appt today, how are you feeling about EPU? It will be nice having the weekend to relax before pick up. Get some good DVD's to watch and rest up with, I do the same for transfer too. I'll get feel good films and hubby cooks me my face dinner. Hope your jabs are going well with not too many side effects.

JG - Hope transfer went well today and you are resting up with your embie snuggling in tight. Am keeping everything crossed for you. I bet it's all go go go for you at the moment. Are you ready for your move?

Kate - Time will fly and before you know it you'll be in the 2ww wishing the time away. Hope your symptoms are easing.

AFM - Just trying to get my head straight for Friday with Dr O, that and do all the little things I don't do while cycling. Am having all my wisdom teeth out in the next few weeks eeeeeep!!!!

Awww will be great the day our thread turns into a mothers group!!! Fingers crossed that's very soon X

    Hey lovely ladies

Hopefuljen I'm a bit nervous actually but very excited too!
The FN called me today, EPU 30th, ET the 5th May and Preg test booked for the 16th. I got so excited when I got off the phone knowing that in exactly 3 weeks I'll know if it's worked! - So exciting but trying to remain realistic about the situation. It's a 50/50% chance. It's such a balancing act of emotion.
-I am so hopeful that your appt on Friday can give you the info you need to move forward. From reading Jessesgirl discription of it, it sounds like the milky infusion is worth discussing!

Kate- before you no it you'll be prepping for EPU. How are you finding your dealing with it all? I started out with no symptoms at all but now have a variety lol.

Wondering how your doing Jessesgirl? I hope your transfer went well and I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes!

    x

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all hanging in there and for those of you who have BFP, I am very excited for you all.

I am new to this site and to the IVF process. This is my first ICSI cycle and frankly I am a little apprehensive. I had my ET on 17 April and am in the middle of the LONGEST wait of my life (which I hope to share with you all)! It is the longest wait I have ever had. As far as symptoms go, my boobs have been soooo tender (it hurts to keep my bra on - sorry TMI) and I normally don't have sore boobs. Have also felt a little dizzy but not sure if that is stress related from the first attempt. I am hesitant to do a HPT as I don't want to be disappointed if it is a BFN. My BT is scheduled for 2 May
I am hoping that this is a lucky thread

Hi Calli202- welcome to the thread! I have my fingers crossed for you that all works out well!

Lovedup - Your EPU is getting close - how are you feeling?? I had blood tests & scans this morning and if all ok will start on my FSH injections as of tomorrow.... then it's 2 a day for 10 days Symptoms are manageable so far - I do have a terrible headache though and really want to go home! I might even cry today, who knows!!

Hope all the other girls are going well and having a good day.

    x
