Default my response to me being judged today!

today I was doing some shopping for my 5 year olds birthday party on the weekend. my nearly 2 year old was having a tanty in the trolley. A woman walks up to me and says..."it is no wonder she is so naughty you only give her junk food" (i had lollies chips etc but considering the number of kids coming it is minimal) My response to miss judge was....Oh yeah that because it is easier for her to feed herself that while im drinking. i then just walked away. any normal person would have looked in my trolley and thought arty time. i guess now she will wonder if i was serious or having a go back at her. (i have had 1 drink in 2 years and feed my kids well)

    awesome comeback!!!

i always wonder what people think when they look in my trolley because i only buy potato chips when they're on sale (but then i buy a lot ) and i never buy fruit and veg from the supermarket - i go to the greengrocers. so my trolley often looks a little bit 'junk-foody' even though i don't eat all that much junk

That's exactly what I wonder too. We buy meat from the butcher, and fruit and veg from greengrocers, so we basically have cleaning products and 'snacks' in our trolley, which isn't a lot, but still all the food we have in there

OP, I have often wondered similar when stocking up for the kids parties, but most of our lollies go onto the birthday cake, you know, when you need to buy a packet of each lolly to use 1 or 2 for some feature What the sticky beaks must be thinking..
