I would like to know this too. I've been bottle-feeding my 3 month old for 6 weeks so we're still on the same set of bottles. Do they wear out?

I changed my bottles from small to big ones whenever that transition was and then buy s couple every fee months to replace the older ones. Not really as a hygiene thing as I washed and sterilized properly etc but I like to buy stuff lol and new bottles were never 'wasted money'.

My DD is 8mths and I've never replaced her bottles. They're the glass Pigeon ones - tall and narrow. Not sure about whether you need to with plastic though.

I gave my son quite a bit of EBM, and have full weaned him recently at 29 months, but give him bottles.

I have been using the same bottles for 2.5 years, and the same teats (the newborn ones as I didn't want him to have a faster flow than the breast).

Actually, I did buy some new teats recently, only because he bit through some of the old ones.

When i first put DD on bottles i changed them every few months. But at $11 dollars a bottle (avent) I soon only started throughing them out if they cracked. Once she started licking the floors I became much more relaxed with germs/hygine/sterilising.
Walk a mile in someones' shoes before you judge them,
that way, when you do judge them,
you are a mile away.. and you have their shoes.
