    Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone is enjoying the easter break!!!

Ladydee - How are you going? I'm a little confused with my days but I'm pretty sure today is CD27 and that would then make it day 22 of the FSH injections. My scan on Thursday went ok. The nurse found 'something' that she wasn't sure of. It appeared to be on the edge of my ovary in some views and in other appeared to be on the edge of my tube. She said it was either a follie or possibly a cyst that had suddenly appeared. Because of it's location though it was really hard to determine what it was so they decided to keep my FSH at 75 just in case it was a follie. Well I went back today and had a different nurse but there appeared to be no sign of whatever this thing was so that was a little weird. The nurse said my lining was at 7.4mm still so that is good as they like it to be over 7mm. The biggest follie that she could see was about 8mm so they are growing very slowly. They have now upped my dosage to 92 and I go back next Monday for another scan.

    Hi ladies,

I am hoping I can join you all in this forum.

DH and I are both 34, and I have had PCOS since I was 25. We have been 'officially' TTC #1 since Feb 2011, although have been off the pill for about 9 months. My endocrinologist actually suggested last year to check BBT, which established that I didn't ovulate (surprise, surprise). I first saw a FS Sep 10, but was a little overwhelmed by it all, and didn't start Clomid until Feb this year. I apparently have started O'ing, but only BFN so far.

It certainly is one hell of a rollercoaster, so it would be nice to be able to chat with some like-minded women about this.

    Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if I could join in. I was diagnosed with PCOS last October after an ultrasound.

I had my first appointment with a fertility specialist in Feb and he operated the next day as one of the cysts was big and he wanted to check it. Turns out it was an old follicle from my PCOS so he did some ovarian drilling and removed some endometriosis from my cervix.

I'm onto cycle 2 since the surgery and CD43 today. I think I may have ovulated on CD 41 but I'm not completely sure. I had interrupted sleep early this morning so I don't know if my temp was accurate. Hopefully tomorrow will give me a better idea. I am going to be so excited if I did ovulate! My cycles before my surgery were anywhere between 40 and 70 days and the last time I think I detected ovulation was my September cycle so it's been a while.

I need to call my FS tomorrow and make a follow up appointment. He said he'd give me clomid.

I look forward to getting to know you ladies.

Ladydee - I am at day 21, and my fertility friend chart indicates I am 7 DPO. I don't know how to post my chart though! Driving me crazy! Apparently my FS will call me tomorrow re: bt and u/s, but it will not be until afternoon and I have clients then! So I suspect I will just get a voice message

Futuremummy - Welcome . I have known for years I have PCOS, but only found out in Feb that I had severe endo on top of that as well, which concerned me a lot more! I am on my second lot of clomid now, after ovulating naturally once following my surgery in Feb. Hope you get clomid and it gives you what you are after!

Purpletulip - pretty sure I've seen you lurking in the clomid thread as well . I've been off the pill since around august in 2009 I believe, went back on it briefly because GP wanted me to have a period and they just weren't happening I started clomid the month after you and it looks like it has at least been making me ovulate when I look at my charts, but still BFN

Sammy - good to know your lining is doing what it's meant to do, even if you do have some confusing things coming up in your scans, hopefully you will have more answers soon

Thanks Elly. It is scary having both isn't it?!?!

I have heard so many great stories about Clomid. I hope we both have a Clomid bub very soon!

Welcome Purpletulip and futuremummy the best thing about finding us is that you now have an instant supportive family! (not that you didn't before).. but this one knows exactly how your feeling and what to say!

Ladies - I have a question. I am currently day 20 and on round 2 of clomid... I've been taking my temp and had a +LH rise on CD16... it came hand in hand with a temp drop.. but yesterday CD 19 I had another +LH rise, temp drop and MASSIVE cramping.. I know that you can't ovulate twice in a cycle so does this mean that the first wasn't ovulation? My cycle is usually 31 days but so far this year (since my op in Nov actually) it's been all over the place!
Anyone had a similar situation? Can anyone shed some light for me??

    to all .. xx

Purpletulip - Welcome to the thread. It definitely is a roller coaster. Have you just done the one cycle of clomid so far? Good luck with your journey and I hope your stay in here is short.

Futuremummy - Welcome to the thread also. that you did ovulate and maybe you won't need to see your FS after all.

Zoem - I've never temped before so I'm not familiar with how it all works. What about implantation.... what effect does that have on your temps? Are you doing a CD21 BT?

Zammy - Sorry to hear your appt was so disappointing. Do they have a waiting list you can go on in case an earlier appt comes up?

    Thanks for all the welcomes.

Sammy87 - I have just started my 3rd cycle of Clomid. I think by far the worst was my first one - so teary! I was a bit stressed at work and someone asked me to do something else and I burst into tears! Luckily, the side effects the past 2 months haven't been as bad.

I hope we all have a short stay here

Hi ladies! I just wanted to pop in and say hi! I have pcos and dh and I tried for about 8 months before being diagnosed. We were just about to start clomid and I fell pregnant!!! I went to my last fs appointment before starting on my next cycle and after an ultrasound he told me to do a pregnancy test in 2 weeks! I wasn't going to do it because I was sure I wasn't pregnant.... I was WRONG! I now have a beautiful 6 month old dd! I just wanted to offer some encouragement! I was told there was next to no chance of falling preg naturally!!!
Good luck everyone .... I've been there and I will never forget how emotional the journey is.
