Hi all I just found out today that I have pcos, dp and I have only been ttc for 4 months but I have arthritis and have to be off all my drugs to ttc so we want it to happen fast. I got a referral to a fertility specialist so hopefully he can help us get our bfp.

Welcome Cinderella! Have seen you in other threads. Sorry to hear you have PCOS, but at least with a diagnosis the specialist will know what to do and you also have a reason for not falling PG.

I hope it all happens quick for you! FX

    Default Heya

    Hi Ladies,

I have been reading your stories and lovely to see where your all up too. I just hope for some Chrissy BFPs!!!

AFM: I had the D&C on tuesday and it went really really well! (as well as a horrible and sad procedure can be). It was quick and easy and after I woke up I couldnt wait to eat and go home. Its been rough since then up and down alot but mostly I am ok, I am worried about DH as he is back at work today and we told everyone at both our workplaces. As hard as it is I dont think I would do it any differently and think that the support has been amazing.

When I woke up from the general there was a lady at the hospital who had 13 eggs retrieved and it made me to happy and hopeful when I heard the nurse tell her how many it was and say "lucky 13" This is because 13 is one of our most lucky numbers and I am so so hopeful that we will get pregnant soon. I think that waiting is so hard and also the plans we had already made for the baby.

I am now just waiting up to for 4 weeks for a natural cycle (or who knows how long that can take?) and then can start again. If I dont get AF then in around 6 weeks I will go to the FS and then we start again.

Well loads of and BFPs for all and I am hoping that I can start to get on a cycle again soon!! xo

Hugs littlejoeyg. Glad it went well (considering). My DH was the same, powered on back at work, I was worried too, my DH said he didn't want to dwell and do nothing. I took him one day to the bay for a little ceremony to farewell our angel, I think that helped him deal with it.

It's a difficult time, plus you have physical recovery too. I hope you and your DH support each other and take the time you need to.

Thanks ladies, it's great to have so much support from people who know what your going through. I hope it doesn't take too long to get to see the fs. I have a appointment with my rheumatologist next week to talk about everything, it rather crap having to see so many drs just to be "normal" oh well.

Yep I'll be on 150mg of clomid next cycle. AF is due to arrive on Monday. Atleast I'm pretty sure she'll come on her own. I really hope she does. I don't like taking primolut cos I get yucky AF from it.

    Hi Ladies,

Miggins- Sorry to hear this cycle hasn't worked out for you . Lets hope next cycle is the one. PS. It only took me 2 days to get AF after stopping progesterone.

Littlejoeyg- Glad you are okay after the procedure- and lets hope that lucky 13 was a great sign

Familyplanner- I cant remember if you are being monitored by a FS or trying naturally at the moment? Sorry to hear about another disappointing cycle.

    Welcome CinderElla

AFM- Grrr Im CD 14 and just got more bloods back... estrogen has gone down to 164!! was 234 on Thursday. Going up again to 62.50 on gonal F. Its just so confusing... each cycle my body responds differently.... last month I over-responded on 50, now nothing is happening. So over it. In the last 12 months we have one 'try'. I so hope they get me ovulating this month- just one or two follicles is all i ask!!

Cinderella- Sorry I forgot to welcome you last time. I've learnt a great deal from these lovely ladies so I'm sure you will too.

1xbabyplease- I'm just about to start my third round of clomid (150mg). The only monitoring I get is a day 21 blood test which I'm not thinking is enough monitoring for my liking. My gynaecologist has never mentioned getting an ultrasound as well.

AFM- AF arrived this morning, which marks our first wedding anniversary. Let's just say I did not welcome her with open arms. I knew she was coming but the least she could do would be to stay away for our date night. I don't think she's ever heard the saying that 3 is a crowd.

Well I have everything crossed that I will get a Christmas blessing.

    Thanks for the welcome girls.
I was wondering if exercise will help me ovulate, I am 163cm and 53kg so am in no way overweight, underweight actually according to my bmi, but my friend is telling me that eating healthy and exercise will help me ovulate. So is this still true if I'm not overweight? Thanks for your help
