However, maybe the reason why they're booked out is because they've got such a good success rate and a great reputation, so maybe they're worth the wait.
You definitely have alot to think about!

AFM - im 9DPO (i think) today and lost the will power this morning so decided to POAS. I used a Crystal Clear test and got a VERY faint positive! I'm trying not to get too excited as I am well aware that it could be my eyes playing tricks on me, but I'm going to head to the shops shortly and get a FRER test coz ive heard good things about them. Haven't really got any symptoms though. Ive been really bloated but thats about it. My boobs aren't sore, just really itchy which is weird!
    i suppose!

Oh my goodnes!!! Good luck honey!!! A faint positive is still very much a positive!! Thinking lots of positive thoughts for you...! That's wonderful!!!

Thank you for your kind words... I've got a few friends with different FS, so have msg'd them to ask for their contacts, and will do a ring around... Will also book with the recommended one, and just hope something happens before then! I think I need to just go home, cuddle my hubby and my fur-babies, and forget about today!

Keep us posted on how you go my dear!!!

I don't even know why a Fertility Specialist would only do Clomid. Isn't he supposed to be a specialist?

I went with an FS who could take us from Clomid right through to IVF without having to go elsewhere. It's cut down on wait times by about three months already I think.

Have you checked if there are any other FS's in the area you can go through? You don't have to go through the first person they recommend. I got my GP to recommend an OB/Gyn for me, but I couldn't stand her, so I went through someone else I requested he refer me to.

I've really got no idea... Just when
I spoke to him today he said 'after this month, if you still haven't ovulated, I'll refer you on to a colleague of mine to talk about other options'...
I'm really over dealing with him, he's made the whole process so much more clinical and distressing that it already had been.
I've got two girlfriends who recommend a FS who they have both said is really lovely... And well, both of these lovely girlfriends fell pregnant whilst seeing this FS so worth a shot!
Just a bit of a down day really, tomorrow will be better! Xx

Bluefiretail- what a joke. I can't believe he has to refer you on to do different treatment- he should be able to do more than just clomid! Waiting til Jan would feel like forever to me. I can't believe the dosage was stuffed up to- and he blamed you! Sounds like he needs the flick anyway

Yay for Pilbara Blossom I hope bloods confirm your good news

AFM- bloods back yesterday and Estrogen has started to rise a bit (finally)- now at 264. Have more bloods tomorrow and ultrasound too- see what is happening then... hopefully a follicle is developing

Bluefiretail - ugh. I went through a frustrating journey with my original gyno managing my Clomid and stuffing things up. I did, however, get a cancellation from one of the FS I was booked into and saw him a month earlier than my original appointment - so maybe ask to be put on the cancellation list.

Pblossom - fingers crossed for you

Did a follow up hpt today....nothing. AF is due tomorrow but not having any cramps, no mood swings etc so who knows whats going on!!! Only time will tell I suppose....life is a guessing game with PCOS after all

And, at the end of the day, if it is a bfn, its not the end of the world. We're only in our second month and we're not on any treatments (yet...) so I guess I've really got nothing to complain about. The only thing is, next month is our last month for trying - we've decided to play it safe after the next cycle as our wedding is in October next year and I don't really want to be 9 months pregnant when I walk/waddle down the aisle! Here's hoping mother nature is on our side and blesses us with a little bubba either this month or the next. Coz you know, planning a wedding isn't stressful enough so lets add a baby to the mix, just to spice things up!

Oh miggins so sorry to hear that. I haven't been on here in a while so haven't read through all the posts but 1xbabyplease in answer to your question a while back I have only just started primolut so hopefully CD 1 will be later in the week. Hubby was overseas and I was hoping to be ovulating soon after he got back but unfortunately while he was away his mum became ill and was rushed to hospital where she passed away so I was dealing with that (as she lived with us) and totally forgot about anything to do with pills and cycles and ovulating!! It's been a bit crazy!! We have the funeral tomorrow so I'm hoping it settles down after that. Wishing everyone good luck in their journeys!
