Hey, did I read someone on here is getting married on the same day?! Great choice
That would be me. It'll also be Cycle Day 10 with any luck, which tickles my fiance and I both!

KNTTTC - I would definitely be looking for a new specialist. That does not sound good to me, for a GYN to be trying to make Psychiatric diagnosis on the basis of one appointment about a completely unrelated matter. I gave my original OB-GYN the flick because she was too up and down. Sometime she'd answer my questions, sometimes she'd fob me off. It got too upsetting, so I got a referral from my awesome GP straight to an FS. Unless you're really attached to your GYN, it's really handy seeing an FS from the start, because they can take you right through.

    Hi Ladies,

Thanks so much for all the good vibes! It's so lovely to feel so supported.

Littlejoey, how did you go today? I'm hopeful that you had a good follie.

Miggins, good luck for tomorrow, I hope it all goes well for you. Are you coping any better with injecting yourself? I had to get DH to do my trigger, the idea of a syringe just creeps me out. The needle is no worse than the puregon but it stings when the liquid goes in.

AFM, I have had a busy weekend around the big O, a little over it actually! I shouldn't complain but it's difficult when the pressure is on. I have a BT on Wednesday that will show if I definitely ovulated, I'm sure I did. Then do my pregnyl boosters on Wednesday and Saturday and spend the following week panicking about the pregnancy test! Not sure when I can POAS because I hear that pregnyl gives false positives, anyone have experience with this?

    Have a good week!

Hey violethope today was pretty crappy for me 1 mm of growth on my right ovary but the left now has an 11 mm follie too so he upped the dose of puregon to 75 plus one click, I go back on Friday.

I must say though that I am so so happy with dr Shane Higgins - he is really good, sweet natured, very intelligent and I will be fingers crossed using him as my ob if I can too.

I am currently on cd19 so I am hoping I have two good follies come Friday! Have again had no side effects so I am keeping fingers crossed for some side effects to give me some hope it's working :-) although FS said on this stuff most people don't get side effects.

Violethope do keep us updated when u poas and my fingers crossed for you

To everyone else stay positive and babydust to all xo

Welcome KNTTTC! I can't believe your gyno sent you to a psychiatrist!!! If he/she was a friend of the gyno, maybe they've got some racket going on. Might be a good idea to find a good FS that you're happy with because they'll have the gyno knowledge too. Sorry to hear you've (and DH!) been through a rough time, FX things start improving for you and your stay here is not too long

KNTTTC - I changed my FS because he wasn't monitoring me and communication was not good. I went with a FS some of the ladies who had done IVF successfully raved about (a Dr Kim Matthews at Next Generation Fertility), I called their offices, made an appt well in advance, and didn't tell old FS until 2 weeks before the appt. Maybe get some recommendations for some good FSs and call their clinics to find out how long you would have to wait fro an appt? I got lucky as mine usually has a long wait and a spot had just opened, you never know

Littlejoey, that sux. Don't lose hope though, it is better to be progressing slowly than to overstimulate. You will get there! When I was scanned at CD12 I had no follicle growth, they could only see my PCOS. They then upped my dose from 75 to 92, 2 clicks extra. On CD16 I had a 10mm and an 11mm follie. I stayed on that dose and at CD19 I had one at 14mm and my big dominant one at 19mm. I injected for 14 days to get there. The thing I am taking from it all is that at least now they know what dose will work for next time if it comes to that. Follicles typically grow at around 2mm a day so hopefully by Friday yours may be where it needs to be, or pretty close, for your trigger. Hang in there hun!

Morning ladies!! I hope you’re all in for a lovely day.

On a slight high this morning after my FS appointment (bit too excited for personals, sorry)……. the scan revealed, one gorgeous, juicy big 14mm follie on my right ovary!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyy!! This is after 6 days of FSH injections (at 75 unit dose). FS also said my womb lining is looking nice and luscious! *take a bow*. FS is happy and said it’s perfect.

I am absolutely amazed that my body has actually done something it’s supposed to FOR ONCE!! It’s just one, but it’s a lovely looking thing – even if I do say so myself . FS is really pleased that it’s worked perfectly so far, on our first try of the FSH injections – must have got the dose just about right, off the bat . There was nothing growing on the left ovary, just the usual pin cushion PCOS cysts.

So I keep injecting the FSH, same dose & go back on Thursday morning for the trigger shot (and a scan first I suppose to make sure it’s still growing appropriately, if it grows 2mm per day then it should be 18mm on Thursday). So we’re starting tonight DTD!!!! Keep me ‘stocked up’ so to speak (sorry TMI) until at least Sunday, then I guess it’s the dreaded TWW for me. My first official and definite TWW!!! I will be entering the gates of ‘hell’ from this weekend.

Thanks TeeTee I hope so too!

I had same thing I think on clomid (just general wetness most of the time) - no ewcm either. Have also had this a little on the FSH, especially the first couple of days.

more recently i've had what looks a little bit more like 'half-cooked' egg white (not quite raw - TMI!), it stretches a little then breaks and only has some clear bits and some opaque/white'ish bits - a little gelatinous. not sure what this means?? hopefully it's a good sign and my cervix is preparing itself or something.
