Chin up Zammy, you still have options you probably haven't explored yet.

My mum who has PCOS said that before she had kids, her friend gave her the news she was pregnant, she congratulated her and was lovely that day but spent the night crying. I had a cry a few days after I was told I would likely have to look at IVF, it took a few days for it to sink in.

I have a friend who recently had an abortion (she doesn't know I am ttc, she probably wouldn't have told me if she'd known) and I was asked if it bothered me by a mutual friend who does know. Surprisingly it hasn't affected me too much, but when I do think about it, it does seem unfair that some people fall so easily only to not want it while I'm trying so hard and jumping through hoops! I'm not judging her as her circumstances were so different to mine (she had just had a really nasty breakup just before she found out and didn't want to be a single mum) but it still just doesn't seem fair! The best people to talk to are ladies like those on this forum who know what crap we are going through!

Lisa - so sorry the OHSS is knocking you around, but congratulations on your bfp!!!!!!!!! Woohoo! At least you have the silver lining that it worked this time, despite how you're feeling right now. Wishing you a very sticky bub and a quick recovery.

Thank you everyone for your kind congrats.

Ladydee - lol, I'll miss you too

    Lots of babydust to everyone!

Congratulations windupbird and lissa!!!! I'm so happy for you both!!

Hopefully this is the start of many BFP's to land in this thread. It's so good to see you both get there after trying for so long. Hopefully I won't be too far behind you!!.

AFM: Just waiting for AF to arrive so I can get started with the FSH injections. I'm actually quite nervous about going to get the HSG done. I'm scared it's going to hurt..... I'm not that great with pap smears so I'm getting my mum to come in case I need someone to drive me afterwards.

Hope everyone else is well and looking forward to more BFP's!!
