Hey MrsPump. BT is on Saturday, which will be day 20. I did an OPK tonight and it was negative, but I'm not putting too much stock in that. It specifically says in the instructions that they don't always work if you have PCOS.

I'm just hoping those 11mm follicles are doing some growing!

kedgie - i always thouht that when you had pcos that the opk's were always positive (which mine always worked) but singa taking clomid they have been negative apart from 1 (whic i think i O'd but the FN doesnt but i think shes wrong haha) so i thort the clomid was making it normal. but i could be wrong haha its all way to confusing

MrsPump - Oh, you could be right, but I've heard elsewhere and from my FS that they're really not reliable with PCOS even on Clomid. But who knows, I think we all get different stories sometimes! I guess we'll know for sure with this saturdays BT (Although I won't know until Monday ) I hate waiting for things. Althought the US tech was great on Saturday. Because they mainly do high-risk pregnancies, they've got a monitor above your head so you can see everything, and she explained everything really well to me.

Ellymoe - He's been great. He's a good sounding board, and he's pretty pragmatic, so he keeps my feet on the ground. It's good as well because my Fiance' is so "take it as it comes" that he's not stressed at all by the whole process, so it's nice to have someone who can cringe with me!

    Hi Ladies,

Good luck to everyone in the tww and waiting to O!

Ellymoe - I have my fingers crossed for you Good luck with the new fs. I think it's good to find a dr that feels right to you. I visitied a few OBs when TTC - one of which gets rave reviews on bh and from dh's work colleagues and yet I found him to be one of the most unpleasant men I've met in my life.

Kedgie/MrsPump - before Clomid I got loads of positive opks, but on Clomid I only got 2-3 pos right around oviulation.

MrsPump - good luck on Thursday! We originally got dh's sa done through 'normal pathology' and paid less for it, but they just had to be re-done later b/c the non-specialist didn't test for everything (which is why it was cheaper), so we ended up paying twice The speciailst one was $485 and we got $400 back from Medicare.

Kedgie - for some good follicle growth - I replied to your other thread. When I first joined the thread someone mentioned that you'll get textbook perfect months resulting in bfns, and then a month when maybe the follicle is a bit small, or lining a bit thin and then surprise - bfp!

MrsJD - good you have your note - I've flown internationally with injections on numerous occassions and when I've told security about them they never even looked at them or the doctor's note.

Lissa - so good to hear your little twins are doing well! Sorry about the kidney infection- that sounds miserable How did your 20 week scan go? Did you find out the sex(es)?

Violethope - hope the injections are getting better. I had dh do them at first, but then found it better to do them myself once I worked up the nerve.

Ladydee - so glad you updated us - I'm so used to hearing from you often that I got worried that your levels weren't behaving. When do you get to hear the heartbeat!?

Sammy - yay for double digits! How's the Clexane treating you?

This is such a busy thread these days! So, please excuse me for stopping personals here - but good luck and babydust to all you regulars - Purpletulip, Miggins, Familyplanner and everyone else

Afm - I can't remember who it was who hazarded a guess - but you were right - it's a girl! So excited for our little princess and can't believe I'm more than half way.

Awesome Windupbird! What date should the little princess be evicted by? Hopping the rest of pregnancy goes smooth.

Thanks for that. I think you're right. Sometimes a little bit too much information is a bad thing.

Oh, and this morning I've been getting pressure/stabbing pains in my abdomen. Hopefully that right ovary is doing it's thing!

FS assistant just called. Based on my US, where the biggest follicle was 11mm on day 13, they think this cycle is a bust, and I'll have to move up to two Clomid tablets next cycle. I've told my ovaries that it's time to show they're as stubborn as me and prove them wrong. I've thought about threatening them with a sacking, but let's face it: I need the lazy little buggers!
