Thanks for the words of support ladies . No one gets exactly how crap the end of each cycle can be like ladies who are going through it or have been.

Windupbird - looking forward to finding out if you will be buying pink or blue! What day next week do you have the scan? Hope it is a little flasher so you get a good look at it's bits

Lissa - I tested on 13 DPO according to FF with FR, which should be 80% accurate. Will be testing again tomorrow and then 2 days later, but I am not optimistic! Hope everything is travelling well for you

I had a significant spike in temp this morning. Unfortunately for me my TWW is usually around 16 days, so I have 2 extra days to agonise during. I am 14 DPO according to FF however I am wondering if I could have O'd later than I did? My chart doesn't indicate this but it seems different from previous months, normally I O around day 14. I'd like to think so because then I would still be in the running! Guess I won't know until around Friday (expected AF day)

Ellymoe so tightly for you! and for everyone else going through this its all I can think about and I am certainly making many wishes for you all - xo

Windupbird - do you have a feeling about what bub will be? I am going to guess girl - lol - just cos I have a feeling and love guessing - and am often right ;-)

I have 5 more days til I start my primolut and 15 or so til I take my Serophene - counting much :-). I am trying to sort out if I should get a diary or use a wall calendar for all the tabs and appts coming up - what do you ladies do? I am so new to this and appts are starting to add up and I am having nightmares about forgetting them!

I have booked a holiday soon so am getting excited about it and who knows maybe relaxing while taking these drugs will lessen the side effects!

Wishing you all loads of :babydust: xo

Violet - The ms is not too bad I have my good days and my bad days. Hoping to hold off on telling people for another 3 or so weeks. Not sure if I'll be able to hide it for that long though. I'll be keeping my that this is the cycle for you!!!

Ellymoe - Hopefully it was just too early to tell. Good luck for tomorrow.

Angela - From my experience and that of some of the other ladies on here the lining was over 9mm when I ovulated. Mine went from 7.4 to about 9.5 in a week so it doesn't take long.

Windupbird - How exciting to find out the sex. DH doesn't want to so we are going to keep it a surprise.

AFM: I'm still going well. Finally made it to double digits I've noticed that I'm incredibly emotional at the moment. Any sad part of a movie or a Tv Show and I'm crying lol. I try and hold it back but I just can't help it.

    Sending

Hey just wondering.... I haven't got AF yet anyway but the gynaecologist gave me a script for clomid and said it needs to be taken from CD1 for 5 days. Is it normal to do the first round of clomid without any supervision or checks.

It seems that most people are checked to see if they ovulated because there's a limit to how many clomid cycles you can do. Don't know whether to take it when AF comes or wait until after I've seen the gynaecologist again, which is in 2 months.

DAMN IT!!!!! Now over 7 months with no AF and one month of taking metformin.

BabyPuMp - Congrats on the AF, fingers crossed for a nice O, not sure about the lower back pain but some people swear by acupuncture, maybe thats an idea! Otherwise my friend uses deep heat on her lower back and finds that helps, another uses something (cant remember what its called - but will ask her tomorrow) from a health food shop!

Familyplanner961 - I would definately get some monitoring, I had my FS visit around two weeks ago and he said that he would closely monitor me because theres a risk of hyperstimulation of the ovaries where there are multiple follicles (like anymore than 3) and they would immediately stop treatment due to the risk of high order multiples, like octuplets.... theres already one octomum and I say she can have it, I just want one lol. Its really dangerous to your ovaries too if hyperstimulation occurs and can damage ovary badly is what FS said!

Sammy- Congrats on the double digits - exciting times ahead - :-D

Hope all are going well and keeping and chins up!!

Last week I was told that I had shingles (didn't even know what they were until I got them) and was completely devastated when speaking with my nurse when she told me that I had to cancel the cycle of IUI we had started. But good news is it's now cleared and we are able to start again.

Something I learnt was that shingles is stress related and with women undergoing what we're all encountering it's apparently a fairly common thing the nurses see.

I was recommended to take a month off to relax and let my body get back to fighting fit, but was told it's entirely up to me. So after talking to DH (who knows me sometimes better then me) we've decided to start back again.

So today is Day 1 of provera and hopefully soon to follow with the daily needles again. this is a successful cycle for us.

Good luck to all and it's so motivating and heart warming to hear all the successful stories from everyone, and hearing the heartache others are experiencing also helps me to find comfort in that even though I don't know you all - it's comforting to know that all that I'm feeling and thinking is normal.

    for all!!

Hi Familyplanner - I did one round of clomid and the only time that I was checked on was on day 11 to see what my follicles were up to. I was then checked a week later and a week later again. That's when we decided to go to the next step of IUI. I've never taken metformin.......

familyplanner - I have just started taking my first round of clomid yesterday, i had a BT yesterday morning and got the result this morning, Gyno said need another on monday morning before 9am and i get the results the same day, then once that bt is done she will tell me when to go for the next one. they are tracking me and basically going to say you need to go to bed on this day haha how exciting.
but i thought it was normal that they would track you like they are me when given clomid but i suppose each dr is different? mayb if its not so successful this time round FX it is tho then you could go to another specialist and request that they track you. it costs me 100.00 per cycle to be tracked.

if you havnt had AF yet you cant start the clomid so maybe tell them that the metformin isnt working (i dont know anything about metformin so sorry if im a big ignorant) and get this to give you provera?

    hope that helps.
