Not boiling hot water, just as hot as you can put your hands in, fill a container to fit the EBM pack in, and defrost it in the water. Works a treat!

Can i just say how did it. you might find it easy but it depends.
    • I would pump it into a baby bottle and see how much i have express
    • then decanter into ice trays (I knew I could express about 120ml from both boobs) and and remember when you decanter how many ice blocks it takes up to fill 120ml (thats how much Jess used to drink per feed if drinking EBM)
    • then once frozen I would put it in zip lock bags of 60ml per bag and put back in the freezer
    • when needed i would put the ice blocks back in the baby bottle (I normally defrosted 60mls at a time in a bowl but leave the other 60ml out on the bench til needed which usually was about 10 mins later then burp the baby while burping bubs hubbie defrosted the next 60ml) and sit in bowl of hot water till defrosted and warmed up for baby

This worked well and even hubbie could do this. Sometimes my mum looked after Jess for me if needed to do something and I would bring my frozen breast milk in a little insulated bag with one of those frozen ice blocks (types you put in an eski when you go for a picnic) and put in her freezer till she needed it. It worked well.
