There is a very annoying Huggies wipes ad on at the moment.

The voice over says something about them being absorbent so you use less.

    It should be fewer.

It causes me to shout at the telly.. every time it is on!

Maybe it's to exaggerate the point... "I am not JUST biased - I AM bias itself!"

    Hmm... maybe not.

I can't remember if I've already said this, but I know someone who sent an email saying that he was going to play "babmington" (badminton), as that's how he thought it was written.

A lot of people in the south of England pronounce 'Portsmouth' as "Portsmarf", and an Aussie friend sent an email saying that she was going to "Portsmarf" as she thought it was written that way from hearing people say it.

    I really hate that one.
I have a friend on FB that has the worst spelling and grammar I have ever seen. XDP had to close her down, he couldn't stand it. I seem to enjoy the torture though. Today's gem is, "home wood bound". As in, she's heading home. Mind you, she's a dental nurse who says 'teef'!

    Bahahaha!

Anybody else notice the recent abundance of people getting "feint" positives on HPTs? I just want to ask which side the test was dodging towards.

What's with misspelling names?!?!? An acquaintance recently named her son Declan... Spelled Decland. I'm told the d on the end is "silent"!!!

Another fb friend's status: "I wish parents would teach there children right" .... So many things wrong with this sentence!!

I've often posted this link on fb:
