I came across this the other day. It is the only way I've understood who vs whom despite many previous attempts!

So great to see this thread still active!

In order to make it clear that the estate should be split three ways, the wording would have to be "the estate is to be divided between Tom, Judy, and Charles".
THIS is why if your Will is written for you by a lawyer, it will contain NO punctuation whatsoever!

    *** BREAKING DAWN SPOILER ***

Hopefully that put a big gap in my post for anyone who hasn't seen the film yet! At the end, during the credits it shows the Volturi and Aro has a human assistant killed because of her bad spelling and grammar. I found it hilarious because I definitely feel that way sometimes when I see horrible spelling or grammar!

I knew Aro had to have a redeeming feature!

One that's been driving me nuts lately is people who exclusively use "whom" in place of "who".

I'm not nearly as fussed when people use "who" instead of "whom" (I suspect "whom" will become a redundant part of our language sooner rather than later) but when it's the other way around it really irks me! I suspect they're trying to sound more impressive, but it has the opposite effect .

It looks like it's just me in here

    But I'll fire away anyway

I'm sure it's been said before but... You are not bias, you are biased! Stop it, all of you!

I saw an amusing spelling error on facebook recently, photos tagged as 'engaugement' photos.
