And you work at Sizzler? Oh hon, you are wasted there! You should be an academic! Or similar. I did languages and linguistics in my first degree too. Love, love, love language and everything about it.

I'm sure I'll still get it wrong

I also love when people use words they don't understand the meaning of.

When I was about 15, I let my hot boyfriend break up with me when I agreed our relationship was frivolous

DH & I both raised our eyebrows last night when a Biggest Loser described her weight loss as "magnanimous"

yeah i know! i quit my arts degree after 2 years.

now i have a diploma of library and information services but most library jobs are only advertised internally so it's hard to break into it. sizzler is getting rather depressing now tbh, although i'm inarguably (unarguably?) one of their best employees.

NO?!?! That is SO wrong. That's the one I hate the most.

My phone when I'm trying to write "duck" first offers "dual", then "f_ck", with "duck" finally appearing third. How can "F_ck" be more common? I'm not a big text swear word user!

    Definately loving this thread though

    Me too!!

And 4fullstop - yes, ponderous questions. 'definately' makes me want to shoot myself. But not as much as 'advise' instead of 'advice' or the your/you're/there/they're/their issue

I fully believe that f-ck would be more common than duck when it comes to text messages
