My name is Rebekah and I am a 4th year nursing and midwifery student, studying at the University of Queensland. As part of my course, I am required to follow 10 women through their pregnancies. This involves my attendance at antenatal appointments, my support during labour and birth and a couple of visits postnatally, to check on both mum and baby. In no way do I replace your primary care giver, for example obstetrician, GP or midwife, I am simply there to support both you and your partner throughout this wonderful experience and to learn a few new things for myself! If you would be at all interested in this and are planning on having your baby at any of the following Queensland hospitals: Mater Mother's, Royal Brisbane and Women's, Sunnybank Private, Ipswich or St Andrew's, please do not hesitate to contact me for further information (details below). I am very passionate about midwifery and would love to hear from anyone willing to share their pregnancy and birthing experience with me!
