Default Please read if you would like to share your IVF statistics

    Hi,

I have have recently started the IVF process and been trying to find some statistics but not had much luck, if any of you are willing to share your experience I would be very interested.

Ie how many eggs collected, number of eggs fertalised, how many survived to day 2,3,4,5 if you know, how many embryo's were implanted and if pregnancy was achieved etc.

    Many thanks

Well I didnt get many replies to my query, but I will add my own stats now

    9 eggs collected
    7 fertilised
5 continued to grow / divide
2 made it to blasto (day 5)
    1 implanted, 1 frozen

Well not quite as good a result as I hoped but still something. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to find out. Here's hoping !

You might have better luck getting responses if you post this in the IVF section of the forum.

    My stats:
    IVF1 (2day embryos): 16 eggs, 12 fertilized, 8 survived to day 2.
A total of 4 transfers (1 embryo each time) with one lost during the thaw, 2 BFNs & 2 miscarriages on that 'batch'. 3 frozen embies remaining from that cycle.

    IVF2 (blastocysts): 11 eggs, 8 fertilized, 6 survived to day 2 but only 2 to day 5.
BFP on fresh single transfer, now 7 weeks away from meeting this bub! 1 blastie on ice.
