We'll be doing a natural sway for a girl for the next one. We both wanted DS to be a boy and I'll admit to a certain amount of gender disappointment for a while. As others have said, I was mourning the loss of the daughter that I never had.
We'd already picked a girls name, and had already gotten attached to the idea of 'our baby girl' who turned out to be our baby boy! We both love him to death and if it turns out that the next one is a boy we'll love him just as much. We'd just both hope for a girl, but that by no means we would love a boy any less just because he's a boy. We're trying for another bub because we want another bub, not because we want a baby girl in particular. It would be LOVELY if we got to have a girl, but just as lovely if we have a boy

We're natural swaying for a boy after three girls. DP is a 'mans man'. He hunts, fishes, fixes cars etc. Loves our daughters so much but is desperate for a son. He had a few days of greiving at our last ultrasound when we found it was a girl. But we would never abort.
He just needs so company so that when our three girls are crying in sympathy with mummy just cause shes crying he has someone to laugh with.
