Home-made baby food....

My baby is almost 7 months. Hes been on solids since six months. Im just wondering if its ok to give babies this age ANY vegetable? Is there anything I should not put in his food? Is it ok, for instance, to use swede and bokchoi with a mixture of other veg (steamed and purreed)?

Also I have used onion and mushrooms (steamed and purreed) in his food before - my partner asked if thats recommended?? Now im not sure. He had no reaction to any foods so far but the wholesomebabyfood site says no onion until 10-12 months, for instance.

Confused! Looking for opinions...!

No need to worry, you can use any vegetables . Just introduce 1 at a time for 3-4 days before introducing another one just to be sure there are no reactions

I wouldn't use cabbages straightaway, but other than those you can cook him whatever veggies you're eating
