I'm not voting in the poll simply because I'm a cranky b*tch and refuse to label my birth as an "elective caesarean," because it was was far from elective.

I had what was classed as elective, but by god it was my last choice, and I dunno, I'm sensitive today and don't feel that my situation is anything like a truly elective (wanted) caesarean.

But there, that's what I had. A caesarean - that I was pressured into, that I did not want, and that was not necessary (but the amount of pressure put on me was too much, and I caved in and agreed... what more can you expect of a 19-year-old being bossed around by forceful doctors?).

I had 4 SVD, with no pain relief and a small tear for # 1 and #2.

    I have had 2 kids.

First was emergency c/s. Second was elective c/s. This one is looking like another elective c/s too.
