    ACU

    Bachelor of Midwifery

    2011/2013

This isn't the first time I have been to uni. I did a Bachelor of Arts at UQ straight out of high school and finished that just before I had my DS. I thoroughly enjoyed it although it never ended in a career lol (unless you count being a SAHM). Then in 2008 I started a Bachelor of Nursing with CQU via distance ed and did 6 units of that before I had my baby DD and decided to apply for Midwifery at ACU. I got my offer in December 2009 but ended up deferring, so now here I am finally ready to go and finally knowing what I want to be when I grow up! Sooooo excited to be going to uni again and to be on campus and studying with real people

Certainly don't worry about piping up with your opinion. But the more you do it, the more notice you get
Interesting! I never really considered the politics of it all, I guess. Can't believe they actually pulled you aside though, that's crazy.

I'm very much pro-homebirth and I actually considered a freebirth with DS2, so the next three years shall be interesting
