HOw's everyone doing??? Can't believe how quickly the time is going!

I started my hospital shifts last week , was so nervous , but had some really great midwives to work with so that was great. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave home at 5am! But i know it will be worth it!

Also did my oral presentation today for the current subject, so glad that's out of the way!!!!! Now onto the next assignment!

Look forward to hearing how you're all doing when you get a chance to breathe!!!!

    HI girls

gosh I din't realise how long it had been since I posted. Like everyone, I've been very busy!

I had my first coc mums birth last week, was such an amazing time to be with her and her partner and to meet their precious little boy. It did end in a c/s, but we have a happy and healthy mum and baby.

Uni is so busy. Well the uni part isn't too bad as I'm only doing 1 subject due to the credits from nursing, but the coc's are making life very busy.

Sounds like everyone is well, but busy. Talk soon xo

Zoe, the first one is so special! How many CoC are you following?
wehe - I'm sure you'll do fab on your assignments
mapalesa - How's UQ uni life? Hope you're enjoying your shifts.
Chrissy -well done passing - it's all you need. A uni friend of mine says "P's make degrees" (passes)
afm, uni life is very busy....Coc, shifts, assessment items etc. but all is going OK.

Hope everyone else is having positive experiences.

    Hey all!

First of all, my contract is sitting on the Director of Nursing's desk at work to be signed - got the job

I got a credit for my quiz - 22/30 (73.3333%). Not bad considering i didnt study nor cram prior to it either. I was literally one mark away from a HD too....

    Hope everyone is doing well.....

Is it just a general care plan, or are you given a fictional patient and have to develop a specific care plan for them? I'm happy to help you out if you need (I'm an RN)
