    so much for remaining inconspicuous

Hi, i'm esther (and i'd like to remain esther on this site - so no slipping up and calling me another name ) - and 2nd year mid in SA.

and while i probably won't post in thread all that often (simply because if i have something to say, its probably not something i'd want the uni to track down ) - but i'm always happy to have people send me a pm or an email if you have questions or even help with assignments

My advice for everyone would be:
Try to not procrastinate - i am exceptionally good at starting assignments the day before they're due - but i've probably cut 10 years off my life with the stress of it [and its far easier to do without children] - but once you start having followthroughs, they tend to give birth on the worst days possible. just saying

suck up to your teachers. and if you have 'non-main******' ideas, don't utter them too loudly or too often, it puts a target on your back

Oh and if you can do 'extra reading' (and by this i mean, keeping up to date with 'current' events in the birthing/midwifery world - this will actually help ime.

Hope this year goes well for everyone.
