Default Avent dummy for children 18 months plus

DD2 uses an Avent dummy - at the moment it's the one for bubs aged 6-18 months. She's 18 months now and am just wondering if Avent makes a dummy for children 18 months plus, I can't seem to find anything in our local chemists. Does anyone know if these are available, or does she just keep using the one she has, I don't see her giving up her dummy any time soon.

My son also uses Avent dummies and I don't see him giving them up soon. He's just turned 1.

Don't worry about going up in dummy size. In fact, the teats on Avent dummies size 3-6 months and 6-18 months are actually the same size. Only the plastic 'wing' surrounding it is bigger in 6-18month size.

Back to why we shouldn't worry about size: bubs will have many teeth by 18 months of age and why would we want a bigger thing inside their mouth for them to suck that might interfere with their teeth development? The smaller, the better. If only the plastic wing in the newborn dummies was big enough, I would have gone back to getting DS newborn dummies.

I dont know if they make bigger ones but i thought i might add this anyway:

I heard the BEST way to make kids give up their dummys is to NOT buy bigger ones for them. My DD (currently 8 months) is using 6 month old dummies and I wont be buying bigger ones. Eventually then become to 'difficult' for bub to suck (as their mouths get bigger) and they eventually give up sucking it. Not sure how true this is but im giving it ago anyway.
Walk a mile in someones' shoes before you judge them,
that way, when you do judge them,
you are a mile away.. and you have their shoes.

My DS is also 2.5 and he sometimes uses his 0-3 month dummy. Don't stress too much about the size.
