Whoops! Hadn't logged on for a while. Hope the meet went well. We now have a donor (yay!) and are currently beginning the hoop jumping that seems to be required to get the end result. Any feedback re clinics and their specialists would be awesome.

Hi Redframes, congratulations on getting your donor!

My DP and are going through Pivet, I also have friends who are at Concept. I have found all of the nursing staff at Pivet to be amazingly wonderful and supportive, and it's a very progressive clinic with good doctors.

Good luck with your clinic hunt. If you have specific questions feel free to send me a message.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for not having logged in in a while...
Been busy with our little 6 months old bub, and bought a house, with a move on Monday!!

Sorry to hear it took so many attempts to Babystepwa to get pregnant... ours went smoothly, with success with IUI on the first try.

I was wondering how Ascotrabbit was doing since our last catch up?
I hope everything has worked out with the potential donor.

In regards to clinics, we've used Concept and doctor Thompson. We've been very happy with them.

Let us know if any of you would like to catch up for coffee again sometimes.
    All the very best,

    Maylands Mums To Be.

    Hi there,
My names Mariyn and I have an 18 month old boy. I'm straight but have hung out with gay guys my whole life. Just moved back to Perth from Tokyo and finding it a little hard to hang out with all the Quinns rocks mums. I have always been active in the gay scene since the age of 14 and am now 43. If you all wouldn't mind I would really love to join in on play session with little Onyx. My best friend Anthony is a donor for 2 Japanese lesbian friends of mine so I can relate. I was in Tokyo for 20 years and am looking for some mums and dads to hang with. Hope to hear from you guys.

Hi just wondering if there are any other meets planned, would love to catch up and meet other same sex parents. We are the proud Mums of a beautiful 5 month old boy and would love him ( and us) to be able to socialize with others.

    Default Maylands/Bayswater parents

Hiya. I saw that there are a few same-sex parents from Maylands/Bayswater on the forum. My partner & I have a 6 month old bubba and would love to meet other same sex parents in the area.

Default same sex support group in Perth WA

Hi everyone, we're new to Perth and would love to meet up. We're thinking of starting a family using a donor, have been together 6 years and in a civil partnership since 2010. Had started the process of finding a sperm donor in the UK through prideangel but we moved to Perth for work 6 months ago and are having to start again. Would be interested in any advice people could give us on how they found the process here and any recommendations for donor sites/doctors in the area. We're based in Fremantle. Cheers, Linda & Sarah
