Default Ruined bathers - can anyone help?

DD's brand new bathers have somehow gone through the wash with something black - as a result, all the white parts, as well as the inside of the bottoms, and really most of the outside of the bottoms too, are now stained this disgusting dirty dark grey colour. As soon as I saw it, I washed them again by themselves in the hopes that it would wash right out but it hasn't and I am so annoyed!

Does anyone have any advice? It is a long sleeved rashie/bikini bottom type two piece set that is bright purple with white highlights on it and it looks so awful. It is still totally wearable but she is going to be upset when she sees it. I haven't tried anything yet as I don't want to strip the colours from the bits that aren't ruined, though really, I'm not sure it can get a whole lot worse...

Things I have currently in the house that I haven't tried:
Preen spray on stain remover (though not sure if that will work if it's the whole thing stained?)
    Sard Wondersoap

Happy to try absolutely anything though - please help

Go to woolies/coles and get the Dye-run (think that is what it is called) - it comes in single sachets usually up above the napisan etc on the top shelf - it is specifically for when this happens!

I wanted to try this but I must admit - the Sard wondersoap is still in it's packet and having never used it before I didn't want to end up with little white blotches on the purple where I missed or my hand slipped or something

Seacretsquirrel - thank you! I will head out as soon as DP gets home and see if I can find it! Fingers crossed... (and toes too)

Get Dylon from the supermarket. Works a treat.
