    Default What would you do?

I just got a phone call from the child care center I want to send dd too, saying they have a free day on wed for her.

I wasn't planning on sending her until July when I start uni and she will be 1 (shes 7 months at the moment) But the childcare center has a massive waiting list and there is no guarantee that I will get a call again for a place. And eventually weds will be really good because that's when my uni classes are.

I go to mums group on a wed arvo which I really really enjoy and would miss.

I currently do paper work for my family business after she goes to bed.

    So I can either:
-Put her in on a wed for a full day and do paper work (will only take maybe 4 hours a week)
-Put her in for a half day (still costing me a full day) and do paper work then go to mums group in the arvo.
-not put her in and hope for another place.

So which one would you pick if you were me? or any other suggestions?

    Thanks!!!!

I would put her in now for sure. She will have time then to adjust and you won't be at uni worrying of her settling in etc

I've had this situation with DS. I paid to keep his place but he stayed home with me. That was for 5 weeks. 6 months is a long time to do that though so I would just leave it personally.

I'd put her in for half the day, or half every second week and a full day every other. Gee I hope our centre calls when the time comes!

She has a lot of time to get used to CC.

Put her in. Do your paperwork then take some me time. When you start studying you will have no time for yourself. Trust me you will be a better mom by having one day for yourself and by doing work during the day you free time at night.

As Nike says... Just do it.

I'd put her in - you can always go and pick her up early
