Just want to say that's it's totally possible!

I've lost more than that in the past 2 years, so at a safe rate without exercise. I hate it but I've recently take up swimming which isn't too bad.

I 100% believe the key is portion control and 5 or 6 small meals. All my meals are off a tiny side plate and it works perfectly.

Well... To introduce myself. I have never been thin. Always overweight but always fit. I could get away with it because I was active and all the fat looked like muscle. I had a flat tummy so never really felt fat. Then I had my son and my flat tummy went and everything started sagging. U became a tellytubby. I'm not sure at what point I started denying that I was obese but I started on packing in the weight. I lived with the thought that everything was the same and I could pull it off until over Christmas something terrible happened. I was walking through the shops and I heard a boy ask his father for a biscuit. His dad told him no because he would get fat. He then pointed at me and said "look at that? Do you want to be like that?" I couldn't believe it. I bought a scale and wow... Wait for it ... 119kg! When did that happen? How did I miss this? From 70kg to... THAT! So that's my story. Denial.

I have given myself short term goals. 5kg increments and then forget about the past. I am now 113.7kg and by march I want to be 110kg. I can deal with 3.7kg as a goal. The other number is just too daunting to focus on.

I want to do this slowly, over a few years. That way i can get out of the bad habits slowly and not fall off the wagon.

That is me ladies. How about you all! You don't have to give your weight but to me it makes it real.
