Nope your not the only one! Mine is 1 and I've been on chinese herbs & acupunture for 4 months now. Soon to do a FET (donor egg from twin sis).

Oh, I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one! When did you find out? Did you try DHEA with any of your 6 'disaster' cycles?

good luck with the FET - interesting that you decided to get a donor - that's kinda where I'm at too - just convincing hubbie and ?looking for one. How did you find your donor.

Hi mum4nay

i have an egg count of 1 and have had two failed cycles.

I have an appt with a new FS in march to get a second opinion and one who uses other things - one of those things being Dhea

It is very disheartening hearing you have low egg numbers but hang in there and try to remain positive

GG - I've followed your story a bit on the low responders thread - didn't realise about the AMH though. Did you do DHEA as well? I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you and your clinic sounds like a disaster.
I'm glad you're moving on though - I'm scared of stopping, but on the other hand, I could have so much more time on my hands to live my life!!!!!! Arrgghhh

Lineyb73 - wow, you still managed to get a BFP last year - that's gotta be a major positive for you! Hope you get some more success and that DHEA helps too. Lets keep in contact to check how we both go. I will probably cycle again around April/May when the DHEA has had 5 months or so to have effect... but I'm also looking into donor options within the constraints of my husband and what he deems 'reasonable'!

I just re-read your post and realised it's your twin sis that's your donor - perfect! Interesting that you have fertility problems and she doesn't?? (Lucky for you!). You must have had your FET by now and be in the 2WW?? Let us know how you go

Mum4nay - It was only June last year that I found out about my AMH levels & it was right before I went on DHEA. My FS did the AMH test which was 1 and we made a deal that if my levels had changed after 3 months on DHEA I'd do another IVF cycle with my own eggs. There was no change whatsoever so I did two FET's (donor eggs) which were both BFN's. A few weeks ago I had a uterine biopsy to test for high natural killer cells and I tested POSITIVE!!! The biopsy has mucked my cycle & I'm currently 10 days overdue. SO, now waiting & waiting for AF to arrive so I can go on the High natural killer cells drug treatment (to supress my immune system & blood thinner) in conjunction with my next FET (only 2 embies left so

it works!!!)

To answer your previous question I wasn't on DHEA during any of my 6 IVF cycles, I was just trying different protocols which didn't work.

I'm incredibely lucky that my twin sister dontated to me. We both think, in mum's womb she took more of the eggs & I took more of the blood!!

(She had to stay in the hospital longer at birth as she needed a top up of blood, when I went home with mum & dad!!).

How did you go with your FET + anti NK drugs on board? Hope it's good news??

AFM - have donor ready to go - aiming to do it asap and freeze all... I just want to try one more time with my own eggs - stupid I guess, but want to test out the DHEA/chinese herbs/short cycle (I've never tried before)
