Default Looking for advice from mums that use slings

Im currently ttc #2 and I want to get a sling for the next baby but Im not sure whoch one to get. there are so many different ones and I always hear of people saying that the strap digs into there sholders.

Im a bigger build (16) aswell so not sure how that will work.

So which ones have you used and really like?

Hug a bubs are awesome once you learn how to wrap it. So comfortable and they look good too.
I also have a peanut shell type sling (hot sling brand) which is easy to use and comfortable to wear too.

A ring sling might suit you, or a wrap, either stretch or woven depending on how big bub is. Maybe have a look here the SAHM who runs it is very nice and easy to chat too

    Thanks ladies

I think I like the look of the wrap around one. Looks cumfortalbe for me and baby. Only they look like the would get hot with all the fabric?

If you're only wanting to wear a young bub, i'd definitely go a wrap like a Hug a Bub or a Moby. If you're also wanting to wear bub once they're older, i'd go for a Mei Tai like Kozy Carrier or BabyHawk

The material doesn't make you hot or anything, its breathable so is quite cool.

Hug a bub style sling for carrying a young bub awesome.

Older bub you cant go past an ergo. Both are really comfy and you dont get the problem of having a sore shoulder with a ring sling type.

i'm a hug-a-bub and ergo type of girl personally.

I'm also in the hills, so i could lend you mine to try out

I haven't found the wrap too hot, obviously in the middle of summer its a bit sticky, but anything to do with wearing babies is kinda sticky in summer. I prefer the security i feel with it when they're all little and wobbly and then securely attached to your chest .

Definitely an ergo girl here. T hated laying down in a sling and it would hurt my neck after the first few minutes.
