Lol kribby our girls will be going to the same school in the same class. Nice to know someone else in prep and from BH.

Sorry on iphone cant see who suggested adding fruit to shakes.. I dont think I really can with mine its just water and powder. Only flavours are choclate or coffee. I think I'll have little snacks in between of fruit or vege sticks and hoummus.

Omg loving5 good on you! I wouldnt attempt a walk like that let alone in thongs!! Go buy yourself a pair of trainers, your feet will thank you for it!

I got some New Balance trainers from the New Balace factory outlet yesterday for $60. Lots of shoes there at least 40% cheaper than in regular stores. Its in Cheltenham off Reserve Rd for those in Melbourne.

I haven't been as hungry today. A bit upset with myself as I've had carbs for dinner last two nights.Hamburgers last night and fajitas tonight. Still, a lot less carbs than I'd normally have.

I add frozen berries to my chocolate shakes. A choc berry shake is actually really yum.

In other news - I just made a really yummy but relatively guilt free dessert. Apple & Cinnamon flavoured rice cakes topped with mascarpone & blueberries drizzled with honey. I used calorieking to work it out and it was about 250cals for the 2 rice cakes. I'm happy with that! The mascarpone isn't the healthiest thing, but as a treat every now and again, it's really yum & something you don't really have to feel guilty about (as opposed to a big bowl of ice-cream or a block of chocolate).

Thanks MagicGirl I'll have to give that a try I just had a cup of fat free yoghurt with some srawberries and a banana. I'm getting less hungry at night which is good.
I've always scoffed at these no carb shake diets, but in my case low or no carbs may be the key to my insulin redistance.

Just a quick on for now I will be back later to do personals. I am sitting soaking my very sore and tired feet. I did my first big exercise thing today. I walked our local dam track. It about 300 mtrs of a steep hill and than a walking track that has signs at every 100 mtrs. I got to the 3000 mtrs mark before turning around so that 6kms all together. I power walked for 1.5 km of that, i walked the rest at a pace where I could kinda talk but not sing so i think i did ok. Hubby was driving batty telling me to slow down and take it easy as it was my first time. I learnt that I need to buy some runners as i only own flip flops and they are a little too big now as i have lost weight on my feet. it was very rocky and i kept falling of the ends of the shoes, hurting my knees and ankles. The balls of feet and the my side of feet are so sore and the underneath are all blistered up.
well done sweety the blisters sound painful tho

I'm in for the food diary!
I think it was heart that mentioned the notatoes they are pretty good especially in winter with casseroles & stuff like that
I did another biggest loser work out tonight then some wii fit i am the hula hoop champion in my house my little mii character cracks me up when she walks on to the screen at the start she is so plump!
I am suprising dh with a trip away in 3 wks i cant wait so im hoping to get down to atleast 90 by then

I couldn't resist posting this.... http://www.otsushop.com/index.php?di...w&product_id=3 I saw it online today, and it made me think of you all, heh heh.

Loving5..Ouchies, blisters are no fun. But go you for charging along on your walk.

Princessmummy..You freaked me out with the "chubby" Wii thing. I know you can customise players, but do they make them chubby according to your weight? Is that supposed to be encouraging?

Notatoes...hilarious stuff. That sounds scrummy as, though. I love love love cauliflower. What is everyone's favourite recipe books?

Sorry, no chance to catch up with everyone..DD is hanging off of me wanting me to fill up her little pool. I had better be a good Mummy and go and do good Mummy things.

YAY lost 1.9kgs on the Tony Ferg scales! So its offical my scales are dodgy but in a good way today.. Not sure if next weeks weigh in is going to be as good as we are off to the beach for 5 days - I MUST stick to my plan! It is so hard when others are around and salt air always makes me hungry...

Welcome Princess Jasmine! I have only been doing TF for a week, so still new to it all. Make sure you go on their website as you can see a lot of their recipes without being a member. Like Kribby said Notatoes are cauliflower mixed with about 75g of lite cream cheese and I always put garlic in mine - its not too bad, don't think I will be able to convert DH though.

QueenBetty - Hope the weigh in today was kind to you... glad you had a good weekend though!

Immaculate - I agree there are so many low fat versions to our favourite foods, it is all about learning to adapt our diets - just wish it didn't take so long to see the results...

Bubmum - WOW what a horrible old biddy to speak to you like that especially when you are in there buying bras... I was out mowing yesterday as well, though nothing compared to you just our backyard - I don't mind mowing but racking and mulching blerh!

Magic - Chromium helps maintain normal blood sugar levels so you don't get that huge craving late afternoon and helps prevent headaches that you get as your body gets used to not having its normal sugar intake.... I haven't taken mine since Day 3 and hasn't been a problem...

Loving5 - Treat yourself for sure and buy yourself some good supportive joggers, my gilly gosh you deserve it! Super effort on the walk.... Hope your feet aren't too sore today..
