Default I am too heavy And big to exercise

I really want to stay healthy but at week 26, I find it hard to remain mobile .. Go for swim or jog...

I do a bit of yoga stretching and that's about it.. Should I b exercising more??

My swim suit does not fit me anymore so I quit swimming.. but I like to go swimming if I can..

Sounds like I m making a lot if excuses but I really feel heavy... Help

Swimming is the best when you feel heavy because you don't have to support your weight in the water. I just started up pregnancy aqua aerobics because I can't handle any more of my normal exercise routines and I love it.

I didn't buy myself a maternity swimsuit but just a 2 piece tankini set in a couple of sizes larger than what I wear at Target.

Swimming really is the best exercise.
When pregnant with ds I just wore shorts and a plain black bra in the pool. I don't think anyone realized I was in my underwear!
I found swimming later in pregnancy relieved sooooo many aches and pains.

I hope u find some way to work with you body!

Gizmuduckus: good idea withthe tankini.. I did think about that but the tankini material seems a bit thin and my breast n butt too big n I feel shy wearing them..

My breasts are huge too but there is not much I can do to hide them but I wear shorts over my bathers to hide my butt. You could wear shorts and a t-shirt if you are really uncomfortable.

The biggest lesson I learned while being pregnant was:
To you-you are humoungus/frumpy, big, disgusting etc etc
To the world-you are a beautiful pregnant woman!!

I know its hard beacuse you feel so big but seriously you can get away with anything!! I went and got a new bikini while I was preggers last summer and got my belly out. I felt hideous doing it (I feel bikinis give my huge boobs more support tho) but everyone made comments about how beautiful and amazing I looked. In contrast, this summer I'm just a big white flabby eyesore on the beach!!!

If you love swimming keep doing it..thats the best thing to do-something you enjoy!

But I think the most important thing is to keep mobile. Walk (waddle as I did) around the block, park a bit further away at the shops, nest (boy did I get a good incidental workout as I was nesting!!) and just work around the house in general!!

You should only exercise as much as you feel is good for you...any exercise is better than none at all. Try this: http://www.youtube.com/user/nishacoach

I found her when I was searching for pregnancy exercises...just click on the "uploads" button to see all of her videos...she has quite a few for different trimesters and so on. I find if I do one or two of the videos, it seems quite easy, but I am weak by the end of it so I know it's working. Of course, like everyone else said swimming is the best...and if you are uncomfortable, where a shirt over your bathers.
