got this from the net Nelly, One way that may help to improve sperm motility is to examine your diet. Some studies suggest that a diet that is low in carnitine may cause problems with sperm motility. Specifically, the two protiens L-Carnitine and acetyl-L-carnitine are thought to help improve sperm motility by transferring fatty acids into a place where they can be turned into energy for the sperm to use in their long journey. There are many factors that can decrease or cease sperm production. Here are a few:
Excessive alcohol consumption
Street and certain Prescription Drugs
Some over the counter medications
Injury to the testicles
Blockage in the Vas Deferens
Excessive Heat to the testicles
Also, I was giving my dh sperm max I think, you can get different vitamin products for men, also as Sarah mentioned, zinc helps and vitamin c. Also Gabriela mentioned about keeping mobile phones away from the hip area, (where all men wear them) because of the radiation they emit, and don't sleep with mobile pones near your bed, keep them in another room.
The caffeine is good to give up for both of you and after the initial "hangover" for a couple of days you get used to it.
found this too, Low Motility?
Guaifenesin (Plain Robitusson-no letter extensions) can improve motility by thinning out the semen allowing for your guys to swim up ****** easier. Vitamin C and Zinc can also help.
2. Stop smoking
3. Stop Recreational Drugs
4. Wear Loose Underwear (boxers)
5. Stay out of Hot Tubs
6. Quit drinking alcoholic beverages
information overload, but I hope it helps. my dh and I had icsi done where they inject the sperm directly into the egg, my dh sperm wasn't swimming great, just wriggling because it was frozen, so the intervention was necessary, plus he has had a vasectomy.
that may be another option to consider.
best of luck nelly
Thanks so much Sarah and Jen....wow...there is so much to look at for every step of the way isnt there. I will look into the info, very interesting stuff. His re-test will be interesting. He did have a migraine the night before the first test so that could have affected the results. Makes me think back....with my DS we were on holidays a lot of the month he was conceived, could be stress affecting my DH too. It hasnt helped this last few weeks that my DS started kindy and we have all had gastro and colds and flu at least twice since then...ohhh for some nice hot summer weather

Hey Jen, have found this website for you - www.pureenergysolutions.com.au Julie sells all the gadgets that get rid of the nasty radiation waves in the home, office and about your personal space.
AFM - Just for fun... What supplements are you taking?
I am on: pre conception multi vit, folic acid, zinc, fish oil (the correct one now, lol), probiotic, Co-Q10 and Lugol's iodine solution. If I jump up and down and can play a tune, lol.
CD23 at the moment and just counting down the days. I have the doc tomorrow to get the results of my 21 day progesterone test. Why on earth this has never been done before I will never know, I have been in so many times to say I don't think I am ovulating!!!! I think I should just quit my teaching job and train to be a doctor, I may just get some help / useful info then. I will also get the results of my HBA1C (3 monthly average of blood sugar level) and my fasting BSL. I am confident my diabetes is well under control and will be very surprised if my results indicate otherwise. If the weather clears up we are going to Fraser Island for the weekend, bush camping Friday night and then a resort stay on Saturday.Should be great fun as it is with the VW engine guy and his girlfriend. We went out bush with them and our Kombi's a few weekends ago and had a wonderful time under the stars. Other than that, nothing else exciting happening in my life. Oh yes there is, I nearly forgot... my DH sold the 1600 engine from my Beetle and is replacing it with wait for it a 2.2l. Oh my giddy aunt, she is fast enough all ready, .
Hope you are all keeping well, sweet gals.
a quick hello, hi kez good luck on your cycle, ask your fs about assisted hatching as it helps women our age, as we get older it is harder for the egg to release from the zona, thus preventing implantation, the risk to embie is only about 1%. my 2 embies were both hatching and I think it made a difference, it was the first time I had hatching embies. It was because of the biopsy done on them that assisted the process.
Hi Sarah, I am going to buy one of those "Orgone Geoclense Home Harmoniser",
thanks so much for the web site as I do worry about being surrounded by tvs all day. I am so jealous of you going to Fraser Island!! I wish I could go. hope you have fun and your new engine will make your bug zoom baby!! have fun you deserve it.
I am going for my first pregnancy scan today, hopefully we will be able to hear a heartbeat, I constantly worry about mc, and last saturday had some spotting, but it was brownish in colour and have found out it is common in early preg due to the embie implanting or its just old blood. I was sooo stressed out at work, I was sure it was the beginnings of a mc,as I had severe back pain as well,I even stopped to buy pads on the way home.
I am nervous and excited about today, will let you know how it goes if thats ok.I am still waiting for this bubble to burst.
luv to all, Jen xoxo
