    Hi All
To introduce myself.... I am 36, DH is 37. Have been having unprotected sex for 2 years, assuming we would get pregnant New Years resolution was to actively do something as there was obviously something not quite right. I have been seeing a Naturopath for 3 months now, and my last 2 cycles were as near to perfect as one could ask. Good temps, good ovulation and proges surge, unfortunately DH was away for work Next fertile period due 4-6 May so for a BFP. Has anyone tried accupunture when trying to get pregnant without interventions like IVF? What did you think?

Hi, Maca powder is highly regarded for increasing progesterone. I use it in a smoothie every morning

    Hi Ladies,

Always nice to meet new people . May your stay here be fruitful! A few of us have been together for some time so we are at different stages on our journey. I'll let the other ladies share their own stories but I'm 40 and 36 weeks PG with #2. I fell in here by accident some time ago when ttc this one and the ladies graciously let me stay. A nicer bunch you couldn't care to meet.

Jen, hope you got some useful results from your hysteroscopy and the FS is able to make some helpful suggestions. Hope the cold is improving too.

Anemone, good time to get a haircut, I'm going tomorrow, might be while until the next one! Hope the weather's not too wet. We had a few good days but its gone cold and damp again - just in time for the easter holidays!

Shelby hope the worst of the anti depressant withdrawal is over and done with and that life is a little less complicated. Was the naturopath helpful?

Feebs, Keziah, Sarah miss y'all. Hope things are going well for you.

    Take care xxx

    Hi Ladies

I'm hoping you don't mind if I join you. I've been reading along for a while now and have found the support and info in here is incredible.

DP and I have been ttc since about Aug last year, under the watchful eye of our FS. We are waiting on the results of his SA atm and I started with TCM about two weeks ago and am finding an immediate result with the acupuncture.

    Wishing you all the best

Hi Girls sorry I have been MIA again - have been trying to get to the end of term! Hooray I am there now and am off on a road trip in the Kombi tomorrow. First stop Birkdale for a night or two for a curry or two, lol. Then after that we are heading down to Byron Bay (hopefully we will be able to make another NSW baby, ), cooler weather might just be good for us like when we made Andie. After Byron we will head back up towards the Goldie for a few days before heading back to sunny Bundy. Woohoo am so excited, it has been 12 weeks since we have been on holiday.

For all you lovely newbies, I'll say hi in a sec just want to fill you in on my story so far! We tried for about 6 years without any intervention as my DH has a few issues then fell PG, we lost at 7 weeks, had one cycle then fell pg again with our beautiful Andie. sadly she had DS and died invitro at 20 weeks and 4 days, she was then born by natural delivery 2 days later. Sadly we have not been successful since but we are both still positive it will happen for us again. So that's me.

Hi Amabel, welcome hope your stay in this group is very short and that you get a BFP soon. I had acupuncture when I was UTD and found it to be very helpful for back pain. I have heard it is very good when TTC. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi Steph, welcome to you too, again I hope your stay in this group is very short. I am currently seeing a chiro instead of an acu person. The results I am having so far are brilliant. My chiro did an infra red scan at the start which showed most nerves and muscles to do with uterus and repo system were seriously stressed. I had another scan on Thurs after 12 adjustments and virtually every nerve and muscle hasresponded really well. Most are almost back to neutral. I have also had my first AF since starting chiro and for the first time in what seems forever it was normal. I would definitely suggest a chiro before IVF. Hope that is helpful.

I've just turned 36 and DH & I are going for bubba #1. I'm trying to balance my & moments but it's hard right now. I'm about to do an onslaught of tests and hope to convince DH to get the sperm analysis done (already suggested to him) as I figure I don't want to wait month in & month out if something is not quite right given I'm a little older. I'm currently waiting for AF as I don't think I'm PG this cycle. Hopefully she arrives in the next few days so I can get the tests out of the way and know what our baseline is.

So enough about me for the moment. I really wanted to say hi for you all x
Welcome, bk2b. Same to you as other newbies, hope your stay is short. Good luck trying to get DH to do the SA , my DH has said he would but somehow he has been busy since. They are difficult creatures sometimes but we love them all the same.
    Much love.

Anemone, I can understand mums want to meet their bub before naming them, my cousin did, and it was a good idea as Bella is more fitting than Savannah!!
Have got a cold now and am coughing my guts up as I type but cant take anything because I'm fasting for hysteroscopy at 1pm.Oh the joy, I just hope they dont send me away because of it.
NK cells, I assume my fs will test for that, he already tested my blood for killer anti bodies which are very high, (over active immune system) which is why i was on the prednisolone and clexane on my last cycle.
hope everyone is well will let you know what happens.
    Love you all
    Jen xx
Hi Jen, Hope the hysteroscopy went well and that it gives you some answers. Big hugs, stay strong sweetie.

AF arrived and suprisingly I had little cramps and nothing like last month so I wonder if last month could have been a possible very early m/c or that taking the evening primrose oil caps this month has also made a difference. YHANKS so much to all you ladies (specially Jen, Pommie and Anemone) who gave me gr8 support over the last few weeks but it looks like all the symptoms were very much related to the discontinuation of the anti - depressants as both my psych and GP have said that my symptoms were very much related to a central nervous system withdrawal response.
Anyway, I am still off work as these symptoms persist but very very bloody slowly reduce day by day.
I am dissapointed getting AF as I really had my heart set on a December baby as both mine and my partner's b'day are in Dec, but besides that I am ok and looking forward to charting for O this month. We are only in out third month of trying and I know that there are so many of us out there who have been trying much much longer. As I am in Adelaide, I am off to a specialist natrupath tonite re fertility as she has been on Today Tonight and so am looking forward to that and what it may bring. I have a feeling that my progesterone doesnt stay hhigh enough for long enough so will be interesting if this will change with some natural intervention LOL.
Anyway girls, take care and I hope all is going well for you all. Jen - how did the FS appt go???

Hey Shelby, sorry to hear that AF arrived and that you have suffered terribly with withdrawal symptons for anti depres'. Muchos love to you.

Hey Zumba, where are u girlie. I thought it was only me MIA. Mwah

Pommie and Anemone - not long for you now beautiful ladies. I think of you both everyday. Much love to you both.

Will be back in about 10 days or so, have a wonderful Easter and whatever stage you are at, to you all.

Welshmummy, than ks for the advice re the chiro, that certainly all makes good sense. My next fertile window is early May so I think I have probably missed the boat for this month? Over what time period did you have the 12 adjustments?

Hi Steph, I had all adjustments over 4 weeks, 3 a week but it was so worth it. I will continue now at just 1 a week - I see it as ongoing therapy which if nothing else helps me to feel sooooo much better about everything. I would start as soon as you can, it was only by chance that I started on CD1 ish. If the truth be known I only went because I had been in so much pain prior to the late arrival of AF. Good luck sweetie.

    Hi Ladies
Happy Birthday Sarah!! hope you have a great day tomorrow! I will be off to the easter show with hubby. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
I had a pregnancy test on the 18th march, bfn of course, which was when I had my last AF. Still no sign of AF ?? day 41 and no chance of preg cause dh vasectomy.maybe the hysteroscopy and D&C has affected it. confused.
    whats new.
    love to all Jen xo
