Finally able to log in; had technical issues all week.

Experience88 - good luck with your 12 week scan.

LG - I caught a taxi when I was induced with Esme. This time whichever one of the single mums that isn't minding the kids will drive me. I'm hoping everybody else will be there. The more the merrier! Will be easier if it's on the weekend, but even midweek there will be somebody.

We're still house hunting, nothing suitable. Second scan at monash was really good - saw heart and kidneys and counted fingers. Donor is coming over tomorrow to help with errands, I'm missing him now we're not catching up to TTC regularly. But it's understandable that he's distancing himself a bit. I'm definitely feeling some movement, which is nice.

    hey everyone
had my 12wk u/s on monday. all was well, baby looks real and was moving around alot. FOB came with me, it was a bit weird to share such an intimate moment and then afterwards, everything goes back to how it was. anyway im glad he came. in the u/s they could still see a bit of bleeding, although my spotting has lightened to almost nothing. so i have an appt with an ob from the hospital im booked into for later this month. im going through shared care, like i did last time, although this time my first appt isnt until im 16+ weeks which seems a bit late, especially because they can still see bleeding on the ultrasound. so im hoping to get some kind of 'specialist care' so it can be monitored for peace of mind. my belly isnt poking out yet, but DD keeps crawling on my stomach and it feels really uncomfy, but she doesnt know what she's doing so i cant get angry at her lol. ive been eeeaaatttttiiinngg EVERYTHING i can get my hands on. it's fun.
what's happening with all you other preggie ladies?

    Good morning ladies,

experience - I'm so pleased baby is looking great in there. And it's nice that your FOB decided to come and see bub too. Hopefully one day soon, he will put aside his resentment, get the snip so he doesn't have anymore kids, and be a civil man toward you for the kids.

No movement yet for me, although I *think* I feel something. I can't be sure so I ignore it and call it gas bubbles.
I'm super hungry all the time too, and drinking water like it's going out of fashion. I still feel somewhat dehydrated but my lips have stopped being cracked and just feel dry.
I've been able to drink a little bit of coffee. Usually a decaf or half a spoon of instant. I find I need a boost at work in the afternoon. Can't have it too late though or I'm up all night.

I have my full newborn nappy stash for bellybub. I know it's really early but I couldn't help myself. Some friends were selling off theirs and so I grabbed them while I could. I just need some covers when I find out the gender.

I can't believe I'm 12 weeks in 2 days. It seems unreal. I still haven't grown much but I do bloat in the evening and I have a little bump. I usually don't pop until 4-5 months anyway so not expecting any major growth until then.

Today is dishes day, pick up photobooks from Kmart, swimsuit for DS2 and clean my room/laundry day. What's everyone else doing this sunny Brisbane sunday?

Ugh, just lost my post!! In short: hello, all good here. 14 weeks, feeling movement, only gained 1kg which I'm happy about and had a lovely catch up today with the Melbourne single mummies.

    How's everyone else?

Hello! It was so nice to meet you, Esme and the others today. You're all a great bunch of mums and kiddies

I'm still feeling pretty good, VERY tired tonight, am already thinking seriously about bed and it's not even 9pm, that is very unlike me (didn't sleep very well last night, that doesn't help ).

experience88, that's great that the ultrasound went well! I hope that bleeding isn't anything to worry about.

Feeling alright here. well a bit blah but I'm hoping my mcdonalds will help (doubtful but it was kid pick up tonight and maccas is the easiest option).

I *think* I felt movement today but really can't be sure. It's so hard to tell with my bubbly tummy.
I've gained 4kgs last time I checked. Not happy but it will come off afterward. It's probably more like 5 or 6kgs now anyway lol.

I'm ready for bed here too and it's only just after 8pm. The heat is making me very tired lately.

LG - was great to put a face to the posts; you look nothing like your avatar I'd be in bed by now if I had the energy to level my bottom off the sofa. Hope you have have a better night tonight.

Mamakoala - I think I'd put on 4 or 5 kg by this point with Esme and only gained the recommended 12kg by 38 weeks, but I also got hypertension and was bordeline for GD, so this time I'm aiming for 8kg. Are you still breastfeeding? I'm wondeirng if that's helping keep off the kg and making this a very dirrerent pregnancy generally.

    Good morning

SPC - With my boys I gained massive amounts of weight. I think about 30kgs between them. With DD I think I gained around 14kg with only some slight swelling so that is what I'm aiming for this time. Of course it's up to my body to comply.
I am still BF and it's probably contributing to my extreme hunger. But I don't BF often. Maybe 4 times during the day. She's a comfort nurser so only before naps, before bed and once during the night. Extras when she hurts herself.
Hopefully it is helping a little with not packing on the weight because I am not very active. I feel like my body has been ruined and I have quite extreme muscle weakness. After this baby I will probably need physio and some one on one time with a pt to get my body back to strong. It actually worries me a bit because my posture is horrific and I can't seem to get my muscles to co-operate. At least I have goals though

It is steamy aready. I am going to put the a/c on. I can't handle the heat very well. I might pop in a bit later. DD is a bit upset that her big brothers left for school.

    hey everyone
no one has posted in here for a while. i need to have a but of a whinge. FOB (DD and unborn baby) is moving interstate in a few weeks. i know he isnt my partner anyway, and only sees DD if i encourage (force) it but im utterly and completely pi**ed off that he is abandoning me while im pregnant for the second time. it is bringing back all the lonely feelings and im getting depressed and bitter and angry about being pregnant. maybe even regretful? i know it sounds ungrateful, but it is just how im feeling atm. i feel stuck and very unhappy.
