Default Bags and lunchboxes - Preschool related

I am struggling finding a decent sized bag to hold everything DS will need whilst at preschool, without it being overly enormous.

Last year at daycare lunch was packed separately and then put into the fridge/snack containers to be brought out at certain times, so I never had to concern myself with fitting a lunchbox into his bag.
This year however he is starting at a preschool and they keep the lunchboxes in their bags. So I let DS choose his, hoping this will motivate him to try and access his own food with less help from the carer there, but now I am going to have to buy a bigger bag.
As well as the lunchbox he has to take spare clothes and a hat, plus nappies and wipes. This just doesn't all fit in his bag, so can anyone suggest a decent bag, or atleast a place to look. I have tried kmart and big w but DS didn't like any of them and I want to try and get him to choose one.

Try strandbags, they have some decent size ones, and kid design ones too. I got DS's bag from there, his is like a small snowboard bag 'cause he wanted one like his dad has

I got DD's one from Zellows it was only $16.95 (on sale but full price was still reasonable at $19.95) it is a bright pink canvas with the shiny front and pocket - they had 2 gir and 2 boy type designs. it seems fairly big without being too huge for her to carry (she is only 4 and fairly small).
If you have a bit more to spend have a look at the Bobble Art bags they have 2 sized back packs - DD had the small one for kindy last year only held a spare change of clothes, hat and drink bottle but they have a larger sized one too and they have soem really really lovely designs - pirates, dinosaurs, cars/trucks, aliens, soccer balls (and I am sure some others) I know ELC stores sell them in Qld but I am sure there are other stockists out there and they can be bought online too!
    good luck with your hunt
