Pippi, you are an incredibly strong woman going to that baby shower! No way I could have gone or maybe I would have and then had a break down later on.

I knew she was gonna do an internal today so I just drank a little bit then told her I couldn't keep much down today. Water makes me feel so awful plus I only have a tiny tummy so not much else I can do.

So anyway, bubba is still hanging on thank heavens. HB was 174bpm same as the last two times. It's incredible to see the difference in growth since I've had 4 scans in just over 2 weeks. Every time there are noticable changes.

Now, there is still quite a bit of blood in there but it's 25% less than it was last Thursday which I think is good. I haven't bled since Saturday night but I am expecting more blood or else maybe my body will absorb it. But that's it, I'm not having more scans and I'll see the ob on Monday and he might have a look in his rooms I guess.

Pumper-I am so glad to read that your little one is fighting and hanging in there nice and tight!!

Jack-I am thinking of you. I am hoping like the others that it was just too early for a heartbeat to be found and your little one is still growing away in there. Like everyone else has said try not to stress too much and take care of yourself. Have you got the BT results yet?? Keeping everything crossed for you and sending lots of positive vibes.

Hope all you ladies are doing well and your little bubbas are not making you feel too awful!

Yeah Dani, HCG and progesterone I think was what he wrote. I did go and get bloods done at the GP the other day and now I'm wondering if I should ring and see whether they got a HCG measurement....but I think that's just torturing myself and I should just wait for the FS to call. i know its early but most say at 6wks you see a heartbeat and you would think that the FS would know when to book a scan for...but anyhow you are all right and I cant do anything but wait....but I do keep poking at my boobs to see if they are still sore

Pumper, so glad your scan went well and bubs is still clinging tight....and that the blood has reduced.

Summa, no he hasnt called yet. The nurses usually call before 3pm but if the FS is going to call me himself he normally does that around 5-6pm after he finishes his clinic stuff.

Jacklicky, I'd ring and just see if they did get a hcg the other day. Then you might have a guide. However, I think it should be taken with caution as I read that different labs can come up with different levels. I'm sure it's fine.

    This is today's scan: 9w3d, http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...ictureid=14683
If you go to the album you can see from 7w through to today and the difference.

I have decided to go to work tomorrow, what do you all think? I am feeling quite ok and I don't do much at work anyway you know what I mean I should add that I only work Tues and Thurs for 6 hours so it's not like it's a huge drain on my time either and when I get there i just sit lol

Pumper - wow, that's amazing how much of a difference there is! Definitely starting to look like the makings of a little human . My next scan isn't until 23rd Feb - am almost tempted to use the U/S referral my FS gave me in the meantime just to get another look in between If you're really feeling OK and don't move around much (I know what you mean, I basically sit in the one spot from 9 until 5), but if you start feeling strange listen to your body and go straight home.

Jacklicky - you hear from your FS soon. I'd almost be tempted to call your GP and see if they have an HCG figure as well. Would perhaps give you a bit more to go by as far as how quickly it's rising. I know what you mean about poking your boobs to make sure they're still sore. DH has caught me doing it a few times and asked if he can help

Summa - how are you going hun? I hope you and DH are doing ok

Danni - good news re the sore nipples I'd say you're very lucky not having MS!

AFM - Soooooo tired today, was up until 3am trying desperately to get some work done that I've been putting off for far too long. Then up at 7am as usual can't wait for bed tonight but very glad I've ticked something to big off my list. The joys of working from home - working till all hours of the morning is very doable

    Arrrghhhh!!!

I went for my to BT this morning and guess what!! It has jumped up from 1061 or 10681!! This was over one week. The nurse said that it is likely the embryo is still growing but may not be growing properly! I don't know how to feel anymore..... My FS is not back until next week, so I don't want to see another specialist. I am expecting it not to be good news. But it so frustrating. What if by some freak chance that it is growing but it is a slow bubs........

Anyone else heard of this and can shed some light??
    I am not getting excited!!

OMG Pippi! Remember at the beginning my HCG's weren't doubling and low and they told me to give up, drop all the meds? Well, look at me now (don't look at the little hiccup LOL). Maybe you do indeed have a little fighter in there! Goodness me! Can you go get another scan?!?! I would be in there like a shot!

Wow Pippi! That's definitely an intriguing chain of events!!! 1061 to 10681 in a week is an average doubling time of 50hrs - so well within the 48-72hr norms. I agree with Pumper, I'd be trying to get a scan done anywhere possible (even if it's not your FS) just to get more of an idea of what's going on. I have everything crossed that you have a little miracle bub slowly cooking away

Its a never ending saga of events in here! Pipi - you poor thing with this possible excitement. I hope it turns out either one way or another - not something difficult for you to have to decide.
