they are fantastic pictures katiee!! The detail is amazing!

AFM, the FS rang and said they think the bleeding is from the placenta I am now a high risk pregnancy and need to see an obstetrician right away. I told the nurse I have seen two gp's up here but they won't refer me as they want to do shared care!!

Sorry to hear that Pumper can your FS refer you to an OB even if your GP wont? Surely if they contact someone directly they can maybe get you in quickly?

I've managed to get an appointment with an ob but not till Monday week. I've got to have weekly scans and I've had more drugs added to my regimen which takes me up to 43 per day plus 4 pessaries. But hey whatever it takes to keep bubba in there.

My FS is going to fax the GP a letter saying I must be referred as I'm now a very high risk pregnancy.

Bed rest goodness knows what I am supposed to do about work. I hate letting people down I am only in an office job so maybe I can plan my walking carefully.

Pumper you don't need to worry about letting people down! All you need to worry about is keeping yourself and bub as happy and healthy as possible

Pumper, Im sorry that its bleeding from the placenta....but I agree with Katie...work is work and dont worry about it. If rest is what you need to do then rest.

Hope the OB can get your body on the straight and narrow and keep that bubs tucked away safe and sound.....

Glad your OB appointment went well Katie and they were ok with your birth options..

Nothing much happening here. Im a little concerned about my lack of MS. Im pretty sure at this stage I was starting to feel a little off....I know they all come and go but its just still a worry!

Katie - so jealous of your 4D scan! it looks like it's straight out of a book. How did you get that?

Pumpernickel - what does the high risk preganancy mean for you -does it mean complete bed rest?

Jacklicky - I haven't felt much MS at all.... A bit gaggy and heavey when I smell bad smells. Maybe you simply aren't going to get it!

So I've gone ahead and booked another scan for Monday. The nurse asked why? I said cos I wanna know what's going on! she said ok . My FS is going to do the first referral to the obgyn and I have an appt on the following Monday - it was the earliest I could get in but that should be ok. Then I only have to deal with the GP to get another one in 3 months.

The GP visits actually cost more than the specialist. It was $90 yesterday because I went 5 mins over my 15min slot. Just ridiculous. The specialist is only $60 for followups and he at least knows a heck of a lot more about pregnancy than the GP. Mind blowing stuff.

I've done a lot of googling today and most times these things turn out ok, provided the mother rests so that's what I will be doing. I will sort out something with work once I get Monday's scan results. That will be 6 days after the bleed. My work is really sedentary so I don't think it will be a problem and we only have 3 clients, one per hour on Tuesday so should be ok. I only have to get up to the filing cabinet so I'll do that once in the morning then save up stuff till the afternoon. Plus I only work 6 hours, so 3 without anybody coming in. Argh I know I sound like I'm trying to justify it so I'll just shut up now

Good luck with your scan on Monday Jacklicky!

Danni, they said rest rest rest but I'm making it couchrest too. Only so much I can do in the bedroom by myself. I got hubby to get me some books from the library today. I think I'll send him to borrow some movies tomorrow too I feel so sad for my daughter though, she can't understand why I can't play with her We've done a lot of puzzles together today and reading and games with little toys. She only got her t-ball set yesterday so she was really wanting to get out there to play that and I couldn't
