Hi dees, I hope that because you know of your disorder your tcc journey is short. It has been 2 years for us and I am pregnant for the third time. I fall pregnant easily but lost the last two before finding out I have factor v Leiden. Now I'm on clexane and aspirin and so far everything is ok but i won't celebrate until I make it to 12 weeks.

Hi everyone - thanks for the well wishes

Dees - we didn't fall pregnant straightaway because I wasn't ovulating (PCOS), once we got that right I fell pregnant (3 failed cycles of Clomid, one successful cycle with trigger injection). I was on Clexane from bfp as I had been diagnosed with MTHFR after having a dvt in 2010. Good luck to you.

    Hi all,

I've started TTC since december, and i have a blood clotting disorder APS. I don't know if my question is relevant to this thread but I've found since i've been TTC my periods have become irregular and early by a few days which makes it difficult to know when i ovulate. Usually my periods are right on time. Has this happened to anyone else

Sorry Dees - PCOS makes my AF a disaster so can't blame my clotting disorder for it. Good luck. A combination of temping, tracking cervical mucous and opks helped me.

Dees - the same thing happened to me. completely clockwork until i started TTC then they went haywire. But i wasn't taking any meds so i reckon maybe stress? not sure.

So far I'm on clexane daily, metformin for insulin resistance (3 x day) and clomid at the beginning of cycle. and today i got my first ever BFP ( ok so i did 3 tests and got 3 BFPs!) if this bubble is sticky i will be taking clexane until dr advises otherwise.

Hi we are about to start TTC number 3. I have been on Clexane and Aspirin for both my previous pregnancies due to a history of strokes (however I've been tested for every disorder known and nothing ever comes back positive) so yippeeee I get Clexane and Aspirin. My first bub was an IUGR and my second was perfect weight. I'm looking forward to being pregnant again but not the injections every day- due to the increased risk of strokes I take Clexane til 6 weeks post partum. Hope to chat to some other mummies to be who understand the pita blood clotting is.
