My fertility accupuncture/ massage lady only does neck and sholder massage in the first few weeks. But I wouldn't have back massage.

Hi everyone else. I've been reading along but far too lazy atm.
Starting to feel better and off the clexane and progesterone

It's a terrifiying time stopping it. I was really scared about the baby, but it seems happy bungying away in there. My stomach just got bigger than my boobs today. *gulp*

    Hope you're all doing ok.

After I had my 2 clots and was given the all clear my Dr told me to get massages to help with the circulation as I was still getting pains in my legs. Interesting that the place said no to you Chubear.

I'm going to wait and check with my specialist before doing anything though. That appointment isn't for another 4 weeks so I'll just hold out until then.

Lucky you Tatiana coming off the clexane. I have to stay on it the whole time with my 2 needles a day.

    Hey Girls

I'm a Sports Massage Therapist and definitely wouldn't do massage on a pregnant woman aroud the tummy, lower back and pelvic areas as sometime this can trigger spontaneous labour. There are a lot of contra indications about doing any form of massage on pregnant women but I personally believe, (after completing a very intensive preg massage course), it can only benefit Mum if done correctly and safely. Of course certain aromatherapy oils cannot be used so any water based massage oils should only be used.

    Hi Ladies,

Sammy - I was planning on a preg massage on the weekend, but got too busy but my Ob said it's fine on clexane, but I would def check with your doc to be fully sure. I'm on clexane the whole time too

AFM - feeling pretty good atm, although the closer I get to when I lost my baby girl the more scared I'm getting. I wish I could just jump the next month or so....

Poobear - Sending lot's of and your way!! I hope the next few weeks fly by for you. Are you on one or two cleaxne per day? Are you able to do it yourself? I was good at doing my FSH injections myself but as these ones hurt so much I can't watch any of it. I wish they would make the needles a little bit sharper and not so blunt. I wonder if they intentionally make them blunt for a reason?

Thanks for everyone's response re the massage. I will definitely check with the ob and will also see a proper pregnancy thearapist.

I'm sure there's a reason for the bluntness- I just can't remember it!

    Hey everyone X
i recently had my 2nd miscarriage in 6 months both at 8-9 wks <although one was a missed miscarriage not known until 12wks>
it could just be 'one of those things' but i do have a feeling its blood clotting related.
anyone here have 2 losses at the same stage?
ill be contacting doctor to run some tests but policy is only after 3 losses! but im sure they can run a dam blood test! will keep you informed with if hel do anything x

Claire - I'm so very sorry for your losses. I had an early miscarriage (before my diabetes was diagnosed) and I lost my baby girl at 22 weeks, so my doc did heaps of tests to find I have a Protein S deficiency. I'm sure if you have a good doctor you can get some tests done. Good luck X

Sammy - I have one needle a day, and yes they are very blunt! I was thinking that it's because they are prefilled they must have a bladder of Clexane that they punture with the needle to fill it, but that's just a guess. I do them myself, I don't think I could handle someone else doing it. I hope it gets better for you, it seems to have gotten a bit better for me.

Hello to all you lovely ladies...hope your all well.

Claire i hope you get some answers soon.

I finally got my second opinion but the doc is a obgyn/gyno and not a fs as i thought, but she is on to it and we took some bloods for thrombosis and also checking out chroma zones despite having a child together already. I have a US booked for this afternoon, she want to have a look for herself ! and i go back to see her in 6 weeks for all the results. I might ring in a few days for the blood results though. She also said i shouldnt take any meds until we get the results ! so no aspirin but my other doc says to take it.....should i or shouldn't i ???confused now
