Congratulations PA80!!! Wishing you a very sticky 8 months.

Catkin - my tests were bulk-billed after a DVT, so that's not much help for you.

    Hi to everyone else

Woohoo PA80!! Congratulations! Such fantastic news... with all going well we're only a few weeks apart!! How exciting!! I'm so so happy for you.

AFM- Still monitoring but at this stage my hormone levels are going well. Had another blood test this morning, so more results this arvo. My scan is Friday. I've noticed the last couple of clexane injection sites have started bleeding in the shower after having done it about 4 hours before. Is this normal??

Catkin. Not sure about those tests as I havem't had them. Hope you got something sorted.

heatherm: Yeah doing well thanks. Feeling really discusting, which I assume means I've got good hormone levels. Nausea really sucks
Delayed my scan till Thursday so hopefully will see a little h/b.

Poobear: HAven't had thatg happen, but it is an anti clotting drug so suppose that could happen at the site of the injection too?

Thanks for all the Congrats Ladies!! I'm so excited! DH is very nervous, but he's coming around... don't get me wrong, he wants this, he's just scared. We have told a few close family & friends, its starting to sink in now....all the signs are strong so hoping this is one tough bubba that can stick it out!

PooBear- how far along are you now?
At what gestation did you preg ladies start Clexane? I'm due to start in 2 weeks once I have a 6wk scan to confirm position (not ectopic) and heartbeat. I haven't had any blood tests, and probably wont until the 1st Tri screaning at 10- 11 wks?

Tatiana- are you taking B6? My doc put me on it for TTC & now preg, due to MTHFR, but it happens to help with morning sickness too. I'm noticing a difference to my last pregnancy, its good! Still a little unwell, but better than last time.

I'm nervous about injecting.... but I'll have to get over that, I hate needles LOL!

PA80 - Are you seeing an Ob? I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, first scan on Friday. I started clexane and asprin as soon as my bfp was confirmed by blood test. My DH said to me the other day he feels strange talking about this little peanut, but he said "it needs it's Daddy". We're both feeling pretty reserved untill we see a little heart beat.

Catkin - I had to pay for the coagulation tests about $100, but all the others were covered by Medicare. Best of luck X

AFM - My blood test yesterday had great results, so feeling positive.

PooBear- Yes I have been seeing an OB already for a while, did pre-conception testing and all with him, and now continuing on as his patient right through. I trust his advice and recommendations, he specialises in high risk pregnancies, so I guesss he wants to make sure bub isn't ectopic before starting me on Clexane?

What are your blood tests checking for? How often are you having them?

PA80 - I'm having 2 blood tests per week till my ultrasound to monitor my HCG and Progesterone levels. I've been put on progesterone pessaries. It's great you have someone you can trust. We have enough to worry about, let alone thinking twice about our doctors advice! I feel so lucky to have found my ob, she came off holidays to deliver Jennifer and was really caring, supportive and professional. I'm looking forward to going through a good experience with her.
