More bleeding yesterday, but hcg has more than doubled since saturday, so it's still doing it's thing. I bawled my eyes out in the m/w's office and I really didn't care because I was so happy.

Thanks for your kind words ladies, they mean so much.

heatherm: thinking of you tomorrow and sending you lots of

Elliemaysmama: Sorry to hear about AF But I've got a good feeling about you and I've gone super freaky psychic with this pregnancy So hopefully that BFP is not too far off.

Windupbird: Yeah the pessaries seem to have settled down the backpain and cramping heaps.

    PA80: how are you going?

Tatiana, I hope all is OK. It's good that your HCG is good, I hope it's going up nicely for you . My doc said I'd need to come off clexane if I bled, do you need to?

Elliemaysmama - sorry to hear AF turned up.

heatherm - I hope all goes well with your transfer

PA80 - How are you doing? I haven't mentioned my bfp on fb yet as I don't want to upset anyone... I'm not sure I will. What do you think?

AFM- still getting 2 blood tests a week monitoring my hcg and progesterone levels. All seems to be going well so far. I can get my scan next week, so really looking forward to that!

    Hello Lovely Clotty Ladies!

Poobear- Yeah I figured as much.... wise I think to hold off. When my time comes () I wont be spreading my news to the FB world straight away.
Wow how exciting you get a scan next week! Its so awesome!

Tatiana- Glad things are going ok

AFM- I'm still in the TWW...... I can't read these signs very well, something is going on but I'm not sure what yet. it is the sign of a munchkin burying in, not AF about to show up early. 4 days to testing, if AF doesn't show her ugly head in the next few days.

Hi guys, I hope you don't mind me popping in.

I'm being investigated for random stuff at the moment, my doc has put me on Aspirin and sent me to my OB - I had a thrombophilia screen done - which came up negative - but I'm told (now I've got the bill) that it's not covered by medicare?! I thought it was a fairly standard one but $102.60 later I guess it's not. Is this normal??

Also they may be sending me for testing for the MTHFR mutation - does anyone know how much that's likely to cost as I'm assuming that's not covered either...

i find it strange that you have to pay any money for the testing, mine was free but in saying that it was done when i was pregnant with ds so it may have been covered as a required test for my antenatal care or something???
as for having mthfr bt that seems strange to me too as it should have been included in your thrombophillia screening???
it is so strange how different states/hospitals etc do things differently.

good luck for your tests catkin
