Default Who elses children do this?!

Today Jasper was pretty moody! Lots of 'no no no!' 'I want I want I want' and hurling things away screaming 'no! That one! That one that one!!!'

We are moving soon so we were packing boxes, so the unrest in the house, the feeling of change, led to agro-toddler.

So I tried to take him out and he gets on his bike, tears streaming down his face screaming 'bike bike no pram no pram bike' and Im sorry baby but mummy doesn't have
the patients. I wanted him in the pram. I put him in the pram to his horror. But once in the fresh air he calmed down.

Went to the first shop he starts screaming he wants a banana, then it's this, then it's that.....
    :-/

Go to the chemist and he smiles brightly, waves, says 'hiiiii' to everyone in the shop.
The pharmasist says 'well this (prescription) can't be for you you look very well' and Jasper just grinned and played coy with her (smile and look away and look back through eye lashes, it's a very very cute routine he has to charm strangers ) he sat perfectly still waiting for my prescription and as we left he waved to everyone again (everyone in the shop that is) saying 'bye! Bye!' he was so lovely they gave him a colouribg book and pencils blackmoores merchandise.

As I left they commented 'what beautiful manners he has'

Get home and we get back to 'nooooooo that one!!!! That one!!!! That one!!!!! Waaaaahhhhhhhh'

Wow, you've just described my Marley to a tee!
As soon as she is on show she gets all the "Isn't she wonderful" type comments, but when we are on our own, man, what a handful!

Haha, of course. Of course she is the same as Jasper

Do you feel ever so slightly bitter at the 'isn't she wonderful' comments.

I used to say to comments 'isn't he a happy baby!' 'no, not really'

He's normally pretty good. I should give him some credit.

Usually my reply is "Try spending 24 hours with her!"
But, she can be a pretty good kid, most of the time, it is just when she is having one of those days I feel like giving her away "free to good home" (Just kidding... or am I )

I'd consider loaning him out to hormonal teenagers. 'here! THIS is what happens if you have unprotected sex!!!'

I did think Jasper was doing his part for teen abstinence chucking a major screaming fit on the bus in front of a bunch of teenage school girl. But the moment he took a moment to catch his breath I hear 'awww he's so cute'

    Damn!
