    Default Urgent- couch pee!

Ds just pee.d on the new couch... It has some kind of stain treatment on it, i took the cover off- the instructions say to just blot liquid spills- but what about smell? If i put it in the wash will the treatment be gone too?

From the spotless book by Shannon Lush...

You can neutralise the smell with lemon juice or vinegar applied sparingly with a damp cloth.

    Good luck.

Im not sure about the treatment going if you wash it, but if you blot the spill (pee)... get some frebreeze! This has happened to us before and I wasnt sure what I could do without wreaking our couch so I blotted with disinfectant and sprayed with frebreeze!!

What about the neighbour? Other than that I'd go for the vinegar (cheapest) - and you'll have some left over (its also a great fabric softener - sorry I'm a Shannon Lush fan!!), febreeze is great but about $5 + for a can.

I just put the cover in the machine on a gentle rinse cycle... Ds is driving me nuts! While i was trying to fix it he smeared eczema cream all over himself and his bedroom window! Argh! And to think i kept him home from daycare today to hang out with him!
