Question My poor bubba is always sick... Please any ideas

Ok so as the title says, my DD is constantly sick. I feel so sorry for her, I have no idea what is going on. She is just one of those babies who catches everything and anything (and manages to pass it on to me )... I am thinking about taking her to a naturopath or something, but I am not too sure what they will do.... I really want to keep things as natural as possible, I know if I go to the docs they will prolly just prescribe something and I don't like just giving medication iykwim... She has had so many gastro bugs and colds etc I just want to make her better

Can anyone suggest a decent naturopath on Brisbane northside?

I can't see your sig because I'm on my phone, how old is your DD?

Would u consider a daily mulivitamin such as pentavite?

Otherwise, I think a naturopath is a good idea.

Hmmmmm DS was always sick too. I took him to a chiropractor who specializes in children and babies. He insisted that regular adjustments would prevent DS from getting sick.
7 Months, 2 ear infections, 2 colds and 1 flu later, I have decided to stop funding his retirement fund

I hope she stops getting sick all the time. It must be very very frustrating

If she goes to daycare or to a playgroup, maybe discuss with the carers or other mums, what can be done to prevent the spread of bugs.
Another thing you can try to boost her immune system is "Inner Health for Kids". You can use it for kids from 3 months to 12 years.

is she breastfed? I take vitamins/supplements as I figure that will help DD.
she also stays home if there's something going around creche (im lucky to be able to be a sahm 6 days a week)
my neices (4.5 yo) have to wash and Purell their hands to play with her.
I'm thinking of trying the inner health for her too, though she does eat a baby yoghurt sometimes.

I take my babies to the chiropractor from the day they are born.
My first didn't get sick until just before the age of 2, and has only been sick 3 times.
My second hasn't been sick yet, and I don't expect her to any time soon.
Haven't even had a ear infection in either of my children.

i took dd1 to a chiro for similar probs which really helped, she still got sick but not AS sick, for a few months. I tried a naturopath who is very good but didn't help dd1 (she has been fab for me tho). Eventually we had to put her on a cortisone spray cos she got am ear /sinus infection that wouldn't go away.

Tbh, alternative med can be really good but it depends on practitioner skill, and you max have to try a few types before u find something that works for you.
