DS1 got his first tooth at 11 months. He finally finished getting his '2year old molars' at 3.
DS2 got his first tooth at 10 months, he's now 17 months and has 8 teeth. They will come, just taking their time!

    Totally normal!

Usually teeth will begin erupting before the 12 month mark in babies - with the average for first teeth around 6-8 months. But it is just that - an average.

The guidelines I have from QLD Health state that there are a wide variety of normal patterns of teeth erupting & that even children who's first teeth are slow to appear generally will catch up, with children having all 20 baby teeth through by the same age (around 2 and a half - 3 years).

The "average" given for top central incisors (the top two at the front) is 8-12 months, so if they appear before 12 months, it's actually still well within the average.

I'm sure you have nothing to worry about!
